And is battling it the same as being a rock, trying to battle a river, by throwing itself into it? I used to agree totally, Janitor, I used to think that all it took was love. I do adore me some good love.. However, I am finding that once I label something, be it love or hate, I have given power to not only that thing, but also it's opposite. They exist on the same stick, although polar ends of it, making it unclear as to which is which or if they are even different outside of their man made names. What if, we observe life unconditionally, with no emotional attachment such as love or hate..what then? What if, we are that force that we battle, by labeling and thinking everything is or must be known? What if, in an objective, neutral place, we realize we are the force and that surrendering to it, is all that is necessary to harmonize? The mind wants to compete, to challenge, the mind wants to identify & think that it knows, the mind thinks in terms of becoming, as if now isn't enough.. What if the real beauty of oneness, beyond the egos, beyond time, is in the humility of uncertainty? War is desire. War is fear. War is insecurity and shame and belief. And they are all illusions that house the man in his mind, away from his highest vibration, that river that flows regardless of the rocks, without consequence. What we know of love, probably pales in comparison to it's enormous, unfixed truth. Can we be okay emotionally, psychologically, spiritually, where the unknown is what is? I have a feeling there is no war there. Peace~ CW |
