Several CMEs have occurred over the past three days (06 Feb -
08 Feb) there is a moderate possibility that they will be
geo-effective. Isolated periods of Active to Minor storm levels
possible over the next three days, particularly at high to mid
latitudes.

This is starting to annoy me . It's been only a few hours and bam ! pictures replaced , missing and so on . They must be really alerted if they are paying that much attention.

But I am sure they are . And we are probably not seeing lots of compromising stuff because it's not even uploaded.

The biggest flare was a 6.4 M-class with a bulk-velocity of under 400 km/sec.
This is a lower to medium energy event, which earth's mag shield will handle easily. Nothing to worry about.

Nope, but I like a good mystery...

One BIG flare and I smell like old melted Dutch cheese.

For flares we are going to experience, in the near future, and may survive,
its useful to "start" thinking about how to save the unshielded electronic equipment we all have.

And I can only see solar activity increasing . We have 4 M-class flares already and more to come surely .
