The biggest flare was a 6.4 M-class with a bulk-velocity of under 400 km/sec.
This is a lower to medium energy event, which earth's mag shield will handle easily. Nothing to worry about.

Nope, but I like a good mystery...

One BIG flare and I smell like old melted Dutch cheese.

For flares we are going to experience, in the near future, and may survive,
its useful to "start" thinking about how to save the unshielded electronic equipment we all have.
