At first I was pretty sure George W. would find a way to stay president, that however is looking less and less likely. I think Obama is going to win it, pending some kind of event.
Interesting times indeed. |

I would go as far as Palin after McCain dies during his acceptance speach.

If there are truely people "pulling the strings" and the President Elect is a farse, I would still vote for the candidate who I thought would be best for the country and quite possibly the planet in the HOPE that I am wrong.
I'm not saying that there aren't people behind the scenes calling the shots but deep inside, I don't want to believe that. Vote with the best of intentions and react appropriately as reality unfolds. |

Vote Ralph Nader if you don't want McCain or Obama. People still have this stigma about 3rd parties. It's time to shoot that line of thinking down and bring it to the forefront.

I'm reminded of a situation years ago in little old New Zealand. Local council elections were approaching and in one of the counties on the outskirts of Auckland city, the sitting mayor was not the flavour of the month and his main opposition was not much better liked. A young tearaway who was a bit of a rebel and public nuisance threw his hat into the ring. Come election day and some of the voters thought they would give the mayor a fright by voting for the least likely candidate. When the counting was over, bless my soul if this young tearaway hadn't stolen the mayor's majority. It was a landslide victory. This fellow knew as much about council matters as I do about flying a UFO BUT in the following election, he got the mayor's job again so he must have learnt pretty quickly.
![]() He missed out on the next election but I heard that he then moved down to the South Island and picked up one of the mayor's jobs down there. So it just goes to show what power the disgruntled voter has. ![]() |

He founded a movie company named "Illuminati pictures" That triggered my "Whoa reflex"... He claims he's independant but always works on conservative projects... So that makes him a liar.. He believes abortion is the most important issue on the american political agenda... That shows clearly his agenda is fundamentalist christian. He has the word ZEALOT tattood on his right forearm in old english!!! Can you hear the sirens going off? Danger Will Robinson !!! Zealot is defined as "a fervent and even militant proponent of something"... In this case obviously his Christian right winged principles. The man is clearly not interested in the truth, only in his own right wing Christian agenda.... in case of doubt.... ![]() The guy is pathetic... Don't take him serious... If I can do this in 5 minutes.. Obama's guys can rip him to shreds... ![]() Now can we forget about this. eh... man? |

This is a very interesting interview. Going back many months Bill and Kerry did an interview where it was stated that Hilary Clinton was going to be elected president and I remember Bill saying "You heard it here first".
I had thought that Barak Obama would be assasinated but perhaps 'they' don't want the intrigue of other assasination in the public arena and so they are moving towards their goal via another route. This would make sense. Let's see what develops. This is a good post. Thanks to JOET1980 |

Actually there is an interesting position being taken by astologers that Hillary could take a very powerful position in this up coming election. I don't think that they say president but some type of position that let's her manifest the bad side of her scorpio sign.
Maybe she will be head of homeland security for Obama.... |

i too think that anything is possible this year. how many times have you heard that this is the most important presidential race in some time? it's rockefeller obama verses rothchild mccain....anything is possible/probable. could it be that rockefeller may have overlooked the birth certificate issue or thought that base had been covered before he put his eggs into barack's basket? here is some food for thought....remember the army brigade being called home to be assigned to homeland security? what do you think will happen if at the last minute, the court rules that obama is not eligible to run for president or maybe find that after he is elected he is not eligible to be president? don't you think that the black voter will feel like they have been cheated by the system again. if you think the rodney king riots were bad just wait and see how they react to that.
another food for thought. i always thought it was a little strange how hillary refused to release and let her delagates go and vote for obama before the convention as other candidates had done in the past. i told my wife that i bet there is some kind of rule that if something happens to obama before the election or is somehow deemmed to be ineligible, then hillary would automatically take his place. (it may be a nonissue but if she would have released them then the democratic national committee could name who they wanted to replace obama.) Namaste' |

You bring up some good point TAXMASTER. There are currently two law suits filed against Obama regarding his birth certificate, or lack of it. I have always thought that should McCain be elected, he would choose someone outside the loop as his VP to take over after perhaps a year in office. That this will be his legacy and he can at least leave congress as the leper with the most fingers. I think this is a legacy issue for McCain. I am glad you noticed she has yet to release her delegates to Obama. This is very interesting. Also of note was the stumping of McCain by the Clintons for a while. Then after the not so secret meeting between Bill Clinton and Obama, the Clintons started stumping for Obama and the Rothschilds started stumping for McCain. Noam Chomsky said we have one party and two factions, which is a dangerous situation. Peace.

it wasn't but a couple weeks ago that clinton and mccain were at the same fundraiser and bill introduced mccain and called him a great american and a good friend. i thought it was a little too chummy for an election year.

Honestly, I have never counted Hillary out. I don't know why but I just don't believe O'Bama will be in Oval Office. It's like it's playing out too easily for him. Not that all elections aren't staged but this one is so obvious. Guess we'll know soon enough.

I have a question for the group. Let's say O'Bama wins the election. Then he's President-Elect. Now until he's sworn in W is still steering the ship, right? So what would keep him (W) from declaring martial law after the election? Thanks for you input.

Hi Julie,
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that the next presidency would officially begin on January 2009??? I also need clarification but I think that's how it works... |
