Thar s/he blows - Mine That Bird!!!

burgundia - I did wonder about the race as a metaphor, too, even though this horse is a bay, so I guess he could be a 'dark horse' (but not black like a Friesian). Anyway, I'm always on the lookout for spirit horses. I DO like this fellow - he has a nice head. It's a surprise! A big upset!

777 - I thought of you too when I saw the name of the second place horse!!

(First place: the unseen world of Grand Possibilities!!??) By the way, does naming the beautiful in the ethereal, esoteric world make it go away??
