Default Former MOD man admits UFO shoot-down orders

Former UK government UFO investigator Nick Pope let slip during a radio interview on Friday night that "UK pilots had been given shoot-down orders after engaging UFO's on several occasions" during his time serving at the Ministry of Defence.

The announcement came during my live radio show Now THAT'S Weird on January 23rd 2009 to a worldwide audience on Glastonbury International Radio and syndicating stations.

Nick confirmed that the MOD who have so often said about UFO's "they pose no threat to national security" were worried enough to issue orders to pilots to shoot down the mysterious craft, although no shoot-downs were successful. Nick went on to say "I am pleased that the orders were unsuccessful as the last thing we needed is some of inter-stellar conflict"

When Ross asked Nick what the government would do if a potential threat of an E.L.E. existed (extinction level event) he commented that the government would probably NOT alert the public for fear of mass panic.

The interview will be posted on our website at http://www.nowthatsweird.co.uk over the weekend, and you can hear the show in full again Wednesday at 9 p.m. UK time via the Glastonbury Radio website. (http://www.glastonburyradio.net)

Nick's statement was backed up by the third guest on the show Peter Davenport from the USA based National UFO Reporting Center who claimed that he participated in a meeting with senior US government officials at which time they told him UFO's were very real and "did pose a threat". He was also told that during the famous "Phoenix Lights incident" over Arizona. that the US government declared a "Def Con 3" - a readiness for war!

Slowly but surely, we are finding out the truth - that truth which has for so long, been denied!!

Another chap (I think also from the M.O.D.) said
similarly on Channel 4 news. 12 noon (G.M.T) today
26/1/09 - i.e. that the order was to shoot down
if any U.F.O. appeared to pose a threat. He
stressed that U.F.O did not necessarily mean - extra-terrestrial.

I'm a bit short on the details because I thought Antaletriagle will post that. He probably will too!

Nick Pope is a very shrewd, intelligent individual, and as he's stated many times he had "media training" whist at the MoD.

Imho, he doesn't let things slip "accidentally". He's too well trained for that

Has Nick Pope ever left government employment? is my question. I just cannot see a man like this being let go by the powers that be. Farm him out as an independant expert, sure, I can see that and it would be good to have an unofficial channel to get out some minor details and also to collect them.

Maybe he has left, maybe he hasn't, but I for one would look very long and hard at motives before exposing myself or friends to any body who was 'former' government information collector.

The same statement has just been made, again on Channel 4, at 8.45 p.m. G.M.T. And yes, it was Nick Pope.

Appearing on the main night telecast from a leading
British T.V. station, underlines Colin's statement
that this was no accident.

Very interesting

Where are you Antaletriangle?
We rely on you, you know.
Don't you watch Channel 4?

Just joking
