Just saw this today, thought it was interesting that they showed multiple recordings of the phenomenon. It seems to be really big, you would think a meteor of that size would have made quite a large impact wherever it landed... wonder what it really is? |

Even if it wasn't a meteor we will never know. They probably had helicopters in the air within minutes to make sure if it was extraterrestrial they would get to it first.

Most definitely a meteor and looking at the pics there'll be a meteorite to be found.
If you're in NE Alberta head out with a metal detector...they're worth a fair few bob ![]() |

scientists from the university of calgary have found hundreds of pieces so far. there has been a lot about it in alberta news.
