Default being prepared

hi all, im interested to hear what peoples plans are for the future. even if you dont believe that 2012 will see planet x, or a pole shift, even if you dont believe in a plan to reduce world population. At the very least how you are coping with the big brother police state which is already being forced upon us.
Im in the process of buying a boat which can run indefinately on solar and wind power the beauty of it is you are excempt from all the ******** that living in a box entails.
Ive opted out of society pretty much during the last 4 years, i dont pay council tax, income tax, rent (my house is in the process of been sold), bank charges,speeding/parking tickets, my mobile is topped up by voucher, i have no loans , credit cards. I still have a life with my kids, i work, and ive got a few good friends.
It is easier to remove yourself from the constraints of an overzealous localised council than you think. When the s*** hits the fan i will be ready.
good luck all.

good luck to you. I have considered a boat too, but they can easily pick you up on radar so my paranoia wont permit it. Im just gonna face it, and be faithful to old blighty!!

In the near term we will be bugging in - for better or for worse.

In the long term we'd like bug out to a larger property for increased
self sufficiency. Enough land to feed ourselves and our livestock. The optimum
size for draft animals is eighty acres (in my dreams).

Whether this is in CONUS or South America will depend on the (Police) state
of the union.
