Surviving nuclear attack

I stumbled on this site which has an online book on survival tips if you are near a nuclear attack: http://www.ki4u.com/survive/index.htm

Didn't occur to me there were ways to protect yourself, even--so just the idea that there were things you could do gave me some comfort. Kudos for this guy putting the whole book online...
