Whats this all about? This is the absolute height of irony, a website revolving around truth, and the coming together of mature adults in order to bring down those who rule by division is being "divided and conquered".. The very site itself is under threat against the will of the majority, because of a few who are in a position to make "difficult" decisions.

Ive not had the time to be around lately, so in that light i'm not to sure whats going on, but if its what it looks like then its an utter disgrace.

Hey man, well im pretty sure that the first step in clearing this place up would be for people to realise that this forum is currently RIFE with disinformation agents who have made their way through the cracks at an opportune moment to reinforce the state of disharmony.

People would want to start speaking up before this forum becomes a carbon copy of the real world.

I feel ya man and after reading this I kind of do feel that someone split this forum on purpose in order just to divide it up for whatever reason. Which just goes to show you avalon was not really about what they said they were. It makes sense, either that or something happened behind the scenes that scared the daylights out of bill and kerry , thus they started an AV2. Did i log back on just to post? lol are you looking to see if I am logged on or off? lol , i hope not man, but if you are thats pretty awesome. Bro I log on and off a hundred times. Its called procrastination. But again you didnt get what I was saying, its cool though. I think your quotes ring true. lol i didnt quote your other quotes, but in relation to trying to say I am not saying anything of importance, again are you trying to be ironic, Cause I cant figure out if you are for real or not? or if this is just your character? Bc remember this JT there is only one Boober! So dont try and bite my style, and if you reply to this , in advance quit being a troll , lol you might be my new hero Jester. And for the dude below me, i cant tell if your being serious or trying to make fun of Boober, either way I like the direction your going.

I honestly think JT is being ironic Boober.

My kind of humour !

The caps lock is working for me... keep it going JT

Who's 'the dude below me' ? Me Boober ?

I don't think you're rambling. You're being honest, with yourself, and with everyone. So is JT. Integrity indeed.

All I can say is, that if we are feeling confused, that's good.

If someone thinks they know where everything is... that's scary.

No one gives us, or allows us anything really, we're sovereign beings.

So I agree, no need to ask for an invite, wait for one. Who knows what's going on, really ?

It makes me laugh, that after 18 months of internet viewing, I'm no more clued up about what reality is than I was then. No surprises that we should have the same impossibility of knowing what's really going on at Avalon either.

The choice is the same. You can choose to believe the best or the worst. Course, news is what HApPENS to you...(my saying) not what happens to someone else. So if something has happened to you, then fine, you need to act on it. But as for speculation about what is happening to other people...and why people do or did what they do did done...

You might just as well believe in fairies if you like. Or Aliens. Or david Icke..

I reckon we have just as much proof.

So that ain't a war that can be won in my opinion, and it ain't worth being uncomfortable with it.

All we can be sure of is NoW...This is it. This is Now...

What are we going to do with this here second ?

That's the challenge.

ya see , here's the real irony on this , whoda thunk boober would be my new Avaloony hero?
since you have warned us boob that you wont be opening any private messages I'm going to have to out my intended one right here () ( is this a pre crime in the making, should I GOVERN myself?) nawwww...
Ok boober, my private message to you is :
I admit to being a teeny bit hurt when you did not comment on my response when I said you could join my cult. And heres where the irony is, Boober I could well imagine joining any cult of the lone canoeist. and WHY?
( ok this bit is not private )
because for me, Boober cristalized exactly what is wrong about whats been going down on here, lack of heart for the honestly hurting because they truly feel they may be left behind. Boober I wondered if you were toying with our feelings and lacked complete sincerity, but the beauty of it is, it matters not, this is what you brought to the table and I am happy to digest the offering. Mainly because it was sweet to me.
The other issues I'm going to talk about somewhere else.
And JT I will admit to a slight confusion regarding your posts, but hey I like it ... I think.

So in your gratitude you are comfortable with people knowing that your actions are not in alignment with your words?

This is a serious forum, for serious discussion, about serious topics, im suprised at the level of immaturity that seems to be accepted here, ie ; were not down at the pub having a laugh. There are peoples lives at stake, to which you've displayed an almost disgusting level of apathy by making a complete mockery of discussions that are paramount to those that are being affected.

Hey man good to see you!

Yeah your right, the guy just got me at a .. moment in my life. A little bit of venting does no one any harm, and sometimes alerts people to the big pile of sh:t thats sitting on the sitting room floor.

Gotta get round to sharing that bottle o Jack'd's man, it would be history in the making!

I am not laughing.

I wish I was able to laugh!

But it seems like many just don't care!

Tired of standing for truth!!! Just bend over and take it!!!

NO THANK YOU!!! PEACE JT!

Umm, so which is it? Is the forum "RIFE with disinfo agents" or are there "very few"?

Here's the thing I don't get (well, one of 'em), if there are only a very few members who are the problem on this forum, logistically speaking, is it not completely ridiculous to weed out the majority of 'good' members as opposed to just finding the "very few". Truly that makes no sense, also if it's only a few trouble makers, why the need to uproot and divide an entire community?

It'd be really nice if a mod would explain how the invites are being sent, because I read people saying things like members who've only been around a couple months are some of the first to get invites. Who knows, maybe they asked, maybe they knew the right peeps, whatever, the fact that mods aren't being very forthcoming about any of this stuff is only making things worse.

Can you not see that going around stating that if people want an invite, they may ask for one, is a bit prententious, like asking them to beg?

Imho, what should have happened is, if you're going to judge members before allowing them in, the mod team should either have stated exactly on what basis one is admitted, and exactly how the process would be carried out, which should be easy enough? That or deliberate on the membership in full b4 allowing anyone in.

What? I think maybe you're taking yourself too seriously. Whose lives are at stake over a forum, and how is taking a light hearted approach to being subjected to these ridiculous circumstances somehow mocking anyone who would somehow place their life on the line on a forum?

That is a member opinion. That is not from a moderator.

Quote:

The current mod team I think is in general agreement there are only a few who won't be invited. Excluding "disinfo agents" is not the goal. The ones with the most "disruptive behavior" will be excluded.

Well, I personally am very very sad about the way this went down - it is not what we had planned. Things happen and people make mistakes. I will personally apologize for the mod team and give my best advice to all before making my final departure. (Yes, I still quit. Time to spend much, much less time at the computer.)

It's the same thing. Pick the ones to leave out. And pick the ones to include. We can't add all 6,000 on one day.

It's random - totally random. The mods that are left are on total overwhelm. Their organizer (me) got disgusted and walked out. They pick their own brain for a list of who they would like to invite, then they all discuss it. Have you ever tried to work with volunteers from all over the world, in different time zones and some with maybe only 1-2 hours to give each day? This is no easy task. Personally, I've been keeping a list in mod central for quite sometime now of posts/posters with really bad attitudes to see if it's a pattern or just a time or two.

Quote:

Oh for pity sake - they are just asking for your help with a very difficult and time consuming chore. Some people on the forum are reading the craziest things into what has happened. I know you haven't been getting a lot of answers - because the mods simply don't have the time, and have not even convened with each other much to come up with an official plan.

What shoulda been, woulda been nice, but it didn't happen, with this little volunteer team that also has to work and eat, and take care of family and sleep. The way I would say it is - on the whole are your posts constructive or destructive? Do you tear down or build up? I would guess there are about 12 people on my do not invite list.

This is a comment made by Jack who is not a moderator.
