A small portion of southbound Interstate 5 just before Lakewood Boulevard in Downey has buckled. The California Highway Patrol is on the scene blocking the number three and four lanes after a small portion of the number three lane "lifted 6 inches." Cal-Trans has not officially determined the cause of the damage was directly the result of this morning's magnitude 4.4 earthquake.
