Back in the 60's and 70's you could depend on "The Readers Diegets" to give you a lump of coal. They had my parents both convinced that my kids were going to be born without toes. They reported that LSD changes your DNA. Freaked out a whole lot of parents. ( I have never hidden the fact that YES I "tried" many of the drugs of the day and I did inhale.)

I had a subscription to that rag courtesy of my uncle. Not bad but good bathroom fodder.

I often find Economy toilet paper a 'false economy'



thanks for your expose Gareth, a very interesting read.

My dad gets time magazine, so I've had a flick through. Some articles do seem to be quite in depth, but I'd agree, the whole tone is very Amerocentric (and why not?, I suppose) and like so many newspapers, doom and gloom sells so it's not surprising that that is what it is full of.

Jeez, you've only got to look at Avalon to see which threads carry thousands of hits, and those which get all too few. so we shouldn't be toooo hypocritical of these 'programming' accusations.. or we find we're doing it ourselves!

Wow Gareth, it is a very impressive review you have done. We need to look at things closely and with a different perspective to really see the patterns behind the messages sent to the masses.

Another evidence that we live in a highly mentaly manipulated environment. Influence of the ideas and thoughts/feelings are very strong in our world, once you wake up to it, you can see the 'patterns'.

Once again, good work Gareth! This kind of exercice you've done really helps the comunity to wake up.
