The first comment there:

when they start resulting to these things, they are asking for a revolution by the people. stop pushing, one more nudge you'll push us off the cliff, the cliff or time to fight back.......... people revolution agianst a police state is going to happen if you do this be warned. Better get fit and fighting guys.

kind of made me laugh. I've been hearing that about every single encroachment upon people for nearly 30 years now.

It's beginning to remind of the silly movie cliche...

"One more step and I'll shoot!
I mean it now... One more step and...
Now stop that! I swear... One more step and...
You think I'm kidding? One more step and...and..."

And what?
I have, sadly become thoroughly convinced that, the only "last straw" anyone is going to react to is when no one can find food, and people start raiding each other's gardens.

They'll wait for that because then, even people who would normally be against government intervention will be screaming for it.

The upside? hmmmm....

Well maybe the government that has to be everywhere, will discover it can't really be anywhere.
