Hm, maybe they'll find it (Atlantis). It makes sense that it would be in that region somehow. There's an old legend/story - maybe it relates to a huge tsunami?? The geological story lines up too: deposit, stratum and a huge volcanic explosion in Oregon (Mount Mazama), a story kept alive in legends of the Klamath people in the Cascades. The flood seems to be almost universal in ancient stories. (Babylon went down in an earthquake.)

Also, some old Inuit stories still have mammoths (hunts) in them !! So that would be, what 20,000 years ago? And there are still the controversial pyramids in Bosnia. I heard that the Egyptian tourism ministry doesn't like the idea of European pyramids
