Hops in Beer and Estrogen levels

Greetings good peoples,
I went to the local liquor store last night to try and find some beer
made without hops. I was actually looking for Gruit but the store never had any, or even heard of it.

I did find this though.. Heather ale brewed since 2000bc. Notice where it
says that 18th century British legislation forced Scottish brewers to use hops.

Just more information which adds confirmation to the OPs article.
