What I am saying is that we are all special, different in many ways yes but all special. Just by adding a label to yourself doesn't make you more special than the person next to you.
And I do feel sorry for anyone that thinks they are a misfit.
The problem is some people seem to think that by adding a label to themselves that they are somehow more special than the rest of us.
Sorry but it doesn't work that way.
Would you trade your non indigo child for an indigo one??? Of course not.

Wake up people you are all equal. Just because you might have had the shtity end of the stick doesn't mean your better or worst than others.
Life is a lesson which you chose so deal with it and learn from it but don't feel sorry for yourself.

Sorry but you aren't any more special than the rest of us.

Exactly we can all relate to those points and sit around and feel sorry for ourselves if we want or we can say feck it this is my life and I'm going to live it.
I don't fit in in many ways but I don't care it's not a problem to me.
The last thing I will ever do is label myself.

Hm, well, I seem to fit almost all the points, except: I'm not an American, hence no American Dream. Also electric appliances have no problems in my presence (or they get used to it otherwise I couldn't be a computer geek.

When I was young I often wished I was just like everyone else so I would fit in, but then again I have never been bullied or ostracised. Wherever I came, in my country or in the world, I found new friends rather easily.

But I also wished that those who have stranded me here on this planet already came back to pick me up and take me home already ;-)))

I agree with that. I don't feel any more special than anyone else, I just regret all the time that most of other people don't understand how special each of them are, and they so easily submit to the **** that's all around and just think 'oh well, that's what the world is like, nothing can be done about that' ...

So if 'indigo' is a another label for me, then so be it I don't really care. I've got a few others already, like a 'Jew', 'weirdo', 'professor', 'geek' ... I mean, really, do we really need all those labels so much? They seem to help to create divisions you know.

Special? I don't think so.
Different? Yes.
Unique? Yes.

I am an Indigo adult who was born during the time of one of the big waves coming in.

Its just a job.

Somebody's got to do it.

This is pretty much what I was going to say.

oxiigen.

Can you imagine the controversy that would ensue if I start a thread that asks, "Are you someone who has brown hair and brown eyes?" I'm sure I'll be accused of arrogance and 'putting myself in a box'.

Swanny you are a trouper. Reading your posts I believe now that you are the constant challenger in this subject. But I must say, it felt pretty good to read Illuminate’s post.
It’s all good Mate, it’s all good.
I don’t need to make myself special, because every morning reminds me that I am. I am special because I am just like the rest of us. And I must tell you, it feels divine.
All scorings on the list of 25 and addition 26 27 28, 29 I don’t get lonely in any major sense, however I enjoy time out, when I can tune out, or rather say tune in. I am never alone.
Oh, and 30 also as my physical body is made of flesh and blood. And that is also great, because the human body is a great design, so it looks good and works well.
Happy with all there is and I am grateful for all there is. For all of us, now! Thank you

I feel in my heart and through research that I'm a Wanderer. One difference is we enjoy teaching/learning. I feel I'm here to fix things and bring balance to Humanity. I just got to remove what my life's Paradigm has done to me so I can remember more of my purpose that I volunteered for.

To be quite honest my answer was out of pure surprise. I definitely don't need a "title" to feel anything. Nor do I believe that because I can identify with each aspect of the list, does it mean I am ''anything". It simply means I can identify with the things on the list.

I for one, am very well aware of what I am, and what I am not. Perhaps more so than most people I have encountered, but that would be a massive contradiction, if I also believed that made me ''better" or "more special".

I am "special" to me, and thats plenty good enough. Regardless of anything else I have done.

My surprise comes from years of comparing myself to such lists, just for fun. (I like to have fun and explore new areas) This was the first I could have answered "yes" to everything. I find that interesting and do not assume it means I am anything different than I've always known.. I am certainly not "better" than anyone.

I am Shaynard.. Hi everyone!

In light, of love

Swanny, I would much prefer not to be “special” in most of the points listed. Let me give just one of many, many examples. Ever since I was about age six and for the rest of her life thereafter, my mother would frequently declare: “Well, you wouldn’t be Peter if you didn’t find a way to do everything quite differently from how the rest of humanity does it.” Then, when I used to be married, my wife would constantly be saying something like: “You have a standing agreement with yourself in all areas of life that you are in disagreement with all conventionally accepted agreements.”

Do you think I enjoyed being comprehensively nagged at with this, over and over again? Do you think I would gladly have at least found some way to give the impression that I was a conformist, just so I could avoid the pain of all that nagging? As a matter of fact, it never occurred to me that either of these ladies might actually be right – though I have since, eventually, realised they were. But I happen to know I wasn’t being enormously independent primarily for any neurotic payoff of aggrandizement (or aggrandizement at least to myself). How do I know I wasn’t? Because decades ago I discovered that knowing one’s self more and more accurately and in greater and greater depth is absolutely essential and central to achieving spiritual evolution and liberation. (Indeed, Bill Ryan has similarly mentioned that you can’t achieve freedom without recovering the detailed memories of all the significant things that happened at any time in your past.) So I have come to know and understand myself “objectively” and in great detail, which continues to include peeling off a further layer of self-identity to find out what’s in the layer underneath. (I’ve also recovered memories of at least most of the significant things that happened in my first four years – and also the years before and after. Why? Not to be “special,” at all. I’ve done it because it’s essential to achieving true spiritual/inner freedom. I mean, do you go to work in order to feel “special”, or do you primarily go in order to survive?) This has nothing to do with self-flattery. Actually, I believe it’s beyond both like and dislike.

"What is an Indigo child? The term "Indigo Child" was coined by psychic and synesthesiac Nancy Ann Tappe, who classified people's personalities according to the color of their auras. Usually each universal age is accompanied by a life color, and during each such age there is a prevalence of people born during that time with that corresponding life color."

http://www.nancyanntappe.com/what_is_synesthesia
"Nancy sees color and tastes shape. Foods that she eats have both color and a geometrical shape attached to them. Some are extremely pleasurable; others are not. Nancy was born with this process as was her grandmother. As was typical in her time, she was taught not to speak of it to others.

"Nancy's synesthesia will be described in detail in her forthcoming book In Living Color: A Synesthete's Perceptions due out this year. She is believed to be the only person in the world to have systematized her perceptions through academic and scientific study into a system of meaning and understanding as they relate to the human personality."

http://www.auracolors.com/personal-quiz-auracolors.html
"The following questions can help you figure out what your true life colors are. Most people have many different bands of color in their aura. However, when you answer these questions, your predominant personality traits will reveal your one or two life color(s). Make sure you answer the questions based on who you sense, deep inside, you truly are; not on who you think you should be or have been trained to be."

I believe the Indigos have helped usher in a new and more respectful way to treat ALL children, instead of "do as I say, because I said so."

In my opinon, Indigo is one of numerous labels used to describe
those who have incarnated with the express purpose to effect
positive change on this planet and to assist in it's healing and
tranistion to a higher vibration.

We stand apart from others here in that we have already
worked through 3d before and ascended beyond it. We have returned to be of
service to those who are at an earlier stage in their journey through the
cosmos, and to continue our own evolutionary process.

We stand apart from others here because of this, and stand together
in our shared purpose.

Loads of great information and stories there Karen, Thank you for the post.

I missed question number 30 before. My answer is no. To both versions of the question.

I am no better than any other single or collective distortion on this, or any other planet, in this, or any other galaxy. I have incarnated here in a flesh and blood vessel, just like everyone else, for a purpose, just like everyone else. If one holds the point of view that purpose defines their worth, then I am still no better than anyone else. From that POV, "different" would be the proper word to express my own.

Some may need help finding themselves at times, or more truthfully put: Remembering who they are. So it is good that someone is trying the offer them assistance through guidance.

I prefer to view a "term" such as "Indigo Person" or "Crystal Person" or any from a long list of such words and phrases, less like titles, and more like the earthly tradition of "last/family names". From my point of view that seems more accurate. It is not difficult to imagine there are many different "families" here for many different reasons. All learning from, and teaching each other. Working towards a better Earth for everyone.

Always, I am prepared to find out I have made mistakes, completely willing to accept that. Nothing will stop me from exploring this world from every angle. ~Different pieces of a whole. All the same. ~

Thanks to all for their comments and thoughts in this thread.

In light, of love

Swanny doesn't need or want to be an indigo he is as perfect as everyone else
Thx for the offer Anchor but I don't need a colour.

Seems my job in this thread is to raise those that feel the need for a label to a place in the world where they feel good without one.

Come on people drop that silly self-imposed idea that you're a wierdo and come have fun with the real wierdos

Doesn't it seem a little odd that we have made it this far without so called indigos and then all of a sudden someone comes up with the idea of some special people coming to save us?? Hehe thx but no thx I don't need your special help

This description is all over the board....

The generation between 15 and 25 right now are going through some extremes unheard of or felt in any other generation...

due to manipulation, food additives etc...

but...

under 15 children...are showing signs of being very different as well....

each generation...is different...

one isnt better then the other..of course...

but i most definitely think this so call "indigo" generation will have...quite a ride..

Dont put things or people into little boxes...its hard to get out after..
