One person's vision or dream can create a vision or dream in another person's mind...which they wish to share with others...in the context of the original vision or dream. If 'Jesus is Lord'...it might be wise to do what Jesus said to do. Luke 6:46 reads "Why do you call me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say? I will show you what he is like who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice. He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete."
The religious leaders and stupid rules...as depicted in the comedic video...were the very ones Jesus took issue with. Often...religious discussions are devoid of joy and humor. I try to revivify dead discussions. My post was intended to address the central subject of your dream...namely 'Jesus is Lord'. I have a friend who had a dream where Jesus was dressed as a warrior. Ralph Ellis has a unique view of the Bible which would lend support to this version of Jesus. There is also an interesting book by Edward Schillebeeckx titled 'The Experience of Jesus as Lord'. What would Freud or Jung say about your dream? In fact...what would Jesus say? Last edited by orthodoxymoron; 10-28-2009 at 05:48 AM. |

So, what I believe the dream means, is that the building is a church. Inside the church is supposed to be good (ie: Holy), however, there is good "and" evil. The result of that evil is that people aren't really in a church at all, they're one step down on a foundation of sand, doing circles - they have no life in them as a result. As far as I can see, in this world, at the mention of "Jesus" or "God" the overwhelming majority have that dead church come to mind (and they think that's what God represents). The "religious" church. The very type of church that Jesus couldn't stand - and spoke out about. It is rife today, and causing people to turn from (and hate) a God that they don't even know, and never took the time. There was a time, when I was younger (early 20's) where (after reading the Bible), I decided that I need to "congregate" with other people, before God. However, I tried a heap of different (so called) "churches" -- and each and every time, I went home shaking my head. I thought: "This is not what it says in the Bible". I realize now that I am older, and have learned more about the Bible, that these are religious people. So, it is possible, as far as I can see - that the dream is telling me to go into these churches and remind people that: "Jesus is Lord" - NOT religion. However, I am not 100% sure what the dream means. I am just looking at my own life. I WAS repelled by the churches (just as the dream signified). I DID see "the light" also, so to speak - from reading the Bible and not listening to cult practices. I attended both Mormon and JW meetings, and I can categorically state, right now - that they are cults. I've also been to baptist and born again meetings, and again - I was dismayed. As for Catholicism, I don't think I've seen a more blasphemous religion. I see so many people online saying "Christians did this" and "Christians did that". However, Catholicism is not Christianity, even though they do claim to be Christian. Catholicism has turned more people against God and made them atheists more than any other religion on earth. They are like modern day pharisees. At least, the clergy is. However, I am quite sure there are some very good people who call themselves Catholic. It's the "religion" I can't stand - not the people. I love the people. As far as I can see, from reading the Bible, and seeing tired old debates on YouTube and forums, the world has turned into a Godless place; a faithless place. Very few people really know what's in the Bible (in the correct context, which takes study and prayer to understand), and more and more - people are just opening it to find (what they perceive as) contradictions. It's a sad state of affairs. I do wholeheartedly believe that "Jesus IS Lord", and I do sincerely hope that the dream I had depicts something that I am set out to do - because people need to stop serving their religions and THEMSELVES. They need to understand that they are fallen and that they only way to be grafted back onto the living vine is to take the hand of Jesus, which is stretched out before them. Most people can't even see it. They are blind to it. Last edited by m1*; 10-28-2009 at 06:08 AM. |

Hi M1 -
My impressions: The 'building' is nice, simple. With sand and stone, wooden doors, wells, 2 central support beams where the people are walking. The two wells: Very dualistic like Zoroastrianism. Evil, good. Life, lifeless (people). Clean, dirty (water). Attraction, repulsion. Zoroastrians also lowered their dead into wells, to prepare the bones for burial, i.e. the flesh would fall off. It wouldn't be a good well to drink from. There are lots of other myths about poison springs. Some cultures had tasters for the important people, so the tasters would die, though that's more a problem with stagnancy. Warfare: poison the wells. Etc. What do you mean by 'Jesus was a Jew'? It sounds like you have a PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!! with that. |
