A LOVE boost for Karen : a call to all

Thank you everyone.
For the last 4 years I have had a terrible time not being able to go to sleep and waking up a lot and then not being able to go back to sleep. I can spend 10 hours in bed and feel like I slept about 4 of them. I've tried all kinds of stuff - melatonin, herbs, etc. I'm a natural health nut and always looking stuff up. Unfortunately I seem to get the most help from benedryl and advil.

Now I seem to be getting more and more allergic to vitamin C, even in food - and my gut for the last month or two, has just been roiling and carrying on with pain and all sorts of irregularity, making it ever more difficult to sleep.

I live in the Eastern Oregon boondocks hours from any metropolitan centers, and there is very little available for alternative care, and I'm not a money chaser, so there's no money for that anyway.

Soooooo.......I'll accept all your love and best wishes as a healing balm and like a mega NLP session to reset the allergies to the time before the traumas that caused them, and the sleeping back to the time I would hit the pillow and simply sleep.

It must be a common thing for this area. I am just North of you up in the woods.. I did not even try to go to bed until after 2:45 a.m. "Why?" I knew I would not sleep the night before I was so sick and very tired just as you did last night woke up. Tried to sleep and nothing I could take would have put me to sleep. So at this time I have had about 5 hours of real sleep. That is all. With the wind and weather moving in it only means that the heater is now going to "come on" and blow around all this dust and dirt that is in my home.

I will hit post and say a wish that tonight will be a good sleep night. No matter for me but for you. "I will catch up on my sleep at work."... LOL

Dear Karen,

Did you ever think, maybe God has a mission for you that is keeping you alert?
Me happened such sometime, I was alert and very active in an issue, even very tired. I couldn't sleep, something was keeping me not sleep. After I finished that issue, I was able sleep and rest perfectly.

My, my all this Tango stuff is new me. Tango you. Tango dances.
That one was a pretty hot and sexy exhibition.
Those parents and the sister were absolutely squirming.
I have not seen these movies, as I am not a movie or music buff.

Karen, my prayers and good thoughts are with you. My sincere intentions for you are that you will find a solution to the problems that currently plague your body, mind and spirit.

Your sleeplessness sounds so very similar to what had interrupted my sleep patterns until I found Chamomile tea coupled with Melatonin. I offer only suggestions for your consideration. I use 4 C. tea bags per large pot. Once cooled, I pour the tea into a glass bottle(s) and store in the refrigerator. Right before bed, I pour a glass of the tea and heat it in the micro. I then drink the tea coupled with 3-4 mg of Melatonin. I buy Schiff brand at a very reasonable price-300 tab-bottle. For me, sleep is assured.

Vitamin C is very difficult to digest unless it is used in the more natural form, which is Ester-C. Even this at first, requires patience for the body to purge from the body that which is causing the digestive problem...about a week. Any vitamin C that is buffered is much easier to digest.

If there is possibly a health store or chain within reasonable distance that you could call and ask them to ship or drop-ship product to you, this might be a solution to the distance problem.

Sleep is something that for us humans, is a must. We need to be fully rested in order to face this life. The above are only suggestions that you may be able to creatively incorporate into your life.

Get some rest...by that I mean... get some time away from Project Avalon (even though we love you) check out my thread - step away from the PC . I'm pretty sure that PCs and particularly the internet are more draining than drinking coffee and alcohol all day long !

Of course, the amount of love flowing in, around and through PA compensates for this...but it does activate the mind...and this takes us away from the task of activating our hearts...
