JRod: Is that recipe a "cancer cure"? If so, what type of cancer does it cure? Also how long should one take it? If I were to make this, I would use fresh asparagus, steamed, natural brown sugar (no splenda) & fresh lime juice etc. Can you fill us in more please. Tks for posting this:

Edit: Also what is "lite" salt?.....would regular table salt do, or is sea salt better?

You can juice raw beats, sweet potatoes, just about anything that we take for granted as only cooking foods...

If anyone needs some ideas just search 'raw food recipies' on youtube, lots of great ideas abounding!
Oh boy, I gotta get a blender sometime. I've actually wanted to make smoothies out of certain fruits and throw in cracked nuts/oats and stuff like that. I hate V8 but I wouldn't be opposed to doing the same with veggies and trying it.

I learned about the asparagus cure for cancer during the week when I took my aunt to see
Vincent Gammill at the
Center for the Study of Natural Oncology, Inc.
http://www.natural-oncology.org/about.htm.
They often have an eat all the asparagus you can day.

You can look up the specifics on the internet,
but no it does not matter whether it is fresh or canned, cooked or raw.

Snippet from:
http://hubpages.com/hub/asparaguscurescancer
PREPARATION OF ASPARAGUS

Place the cooked asparagus in a blender and liquefy to make a puree, and store in the refrigerator. Give the patient 4 full tablespoons twice daily, morning and evening.

Patients usually show some improvement in 2-4 weeks. It can be diluted with water and used as a cold or hot drink. This suggested dosage is based on present experience, but certainly larger amounts can do no harm and may be needed in some cases.

Hi Waitingininthewings (c'mon out 'n play with the rest of us, no more waiting)

Yes, Cold Asparagus Soup is a cancer Therapy food ( not a "cure").

I have Two different cancers myself, have been kept them subdued some 15-years now by every available means.

Asparagus soup (my original recipe) is just ONE of my foods (twice per week).

Lite Salt is just that: Throw out the Sodium Chloride and replace it with Lite Salt = 50-percent NaCl / 50-percent KCl. Sodium and Potassium MUST be kept in proper ratios.

You may use fresh or canned, but NOT steamed = Any temperature over 110-degrees breaks down the enzymes in EVERY food that is cooked.

I recommend Splenda instead of Sugar BECAUSE Cancer feeds on Simple Sugars. Lite Brown Sugar from Splenda is a better choice. I also use a LOT of RAW HONEY for the high Fructose to Glucose ratio. Fructose sugars (from Fruits) do NOT feed the Cancers, and Raw Honey is one of the BEST natural foods.

Truth // Peace

Here's what happen to me last week, I was talking with one of the shop guys llast week of instead of taking the vaccine www.nvic.org maybe try colidal silver. What he told me after that I was floored, He said his mom has been taking Colidal silver for the past 6 years when she found out she had lymphoma. Docs gave her 6 months to live, he said last year she went deer hunting and this is year 6 and the docs have no explanation as to why her lympnoids are shrinking . After reading about Colidal Silver being able to kill over 650 parasites, viruses, fungi and mold, all within minutes I'm like maybe there is something here, You can make it yourself with a small kit. Just an FYI
of what happened this past week and oh yea against this swine flu as well.

they are running ads on the radio here now that the recommendation right now is get your regular flu shot and then 2 additional shots for the swine flu. I keep thinking if it isn't that bad now why would I get 2 shots of a strain that isn't that bad when they could only ,make a vaccine of the present strain????????????????? None of that makes sense.Hmmmmmm..............Colidal Silver maybe instead, read up on it please.

If you want to get serious about Raw food eating your gonna need to invest in a juicer as well as a blender. A blender can only get you so far.

A juicer is where it's at. I have the samson GB-9001 juicer. Funny thing is I couldn't help but humm and sing while I juiced with it, so I decided to check out what the motor is tuned too, and as it turns out the hum of the motor is tuned to C528, a nice added touch indeed!

Raw foods and juicing is great, but god is it expensive for a family of 6. I think that is one of the biggest problems is that it costs so much if you don't have space to garden. Many people are sick due to not having access to inexpensive healthy food.

Looks like a great recipe.

Since my name is not Karen Kitchen I find the stress associated with preparation, juicing, and clean-up to be at such a high level, I think it must neutralize most of the good. And in my mom's kitchen there is no room for my juicer. So it is stuck away in the basement. If I had more money, those expensive dehydrated greens drinks would be a 2nd best - well wait, only if it followed the Eat Right 4 Your Type plan. Being a B blood type I'm in the 25% that needs a different food profile from the majority. Food is not a one size fits all, so just listen to your body.

Some people are actually too alkaline. So be careful out there. It is really not as simplistic as it sounds. Calcium supplements and milk are also very good at buffering out acid. I'm a proponent of getting raw milk from grass-fed cows/goats/etc. Regular grocery-store milk IS very akin to poison after pasteurization and homogenization [breaking up the cream into tiny toxic globules that stay mixed in the milk]. Raw cream from naturally raised animals is a true gift from the gods, rich in essential fat-soluble nutrients.

I think foods preserved by culturing are a real boon to our health and they are at close to zero consumption in the SAD diet. (standard american diet) It is said the refrigerator was the item causing the most detriment to human health. http://westonaprice.org has information about a wide variety of traditional cultured foods and drinks.
