Default R the Pyrenees gonna have an earthquake?

Hi all,

Been getting funny headaches, as is my son who is only 9yrs old, but only when on the letlines. Here is a photo of the sky that sits over the Pyrenees at the moment.

As the Pyrenees straddle between Spain and France it could be part of it. But I haven't been in the prediction game so I am not sure if theses are good signs of this?????? HMMmmm.

Hi lawlessline,

I don't think that there are fault lines along the Pyrenees.

If you are anywhere near to Arséguel, just south of Andorra, pop in and say "Hi" to Artur Blasco for me.

I played in the 'Trobada d' Acordionistes del Pirineu' in that village many years ago over three years (I think in 90, 91 and 92) and also the 'I Trobada d' Acordionistes del Puiggerda'.

Best regards,

Steve

Steve,

When there I will say any hellos for you my friend.
I know we are not on a fault line, but we do get quakes on a low regular intervals. It is where Africa pushes onto Spain which created the Mountains. So the rift mountain effects are the qukes.
Also if this would happen would it not be a sign of the fact that Africa will split from Asia in the ocean between them? Creating new land and costal events?

Nah gone too far there. but just repeating things I heard. But movement here will most certainly mean movement elsewhere?

Hi lawlessline,

I did hear when I was in Arsèguel that the Cadi mountain moves forwards and backwards coming closer and further away from the village. I have seen this phenomenon with my own eyes.

Logic tells me that it's the difference in air pressure / quality / visibility, but, between you and me, it could also explain the rumblings...

Best regards,

Steve
