I AM NOT saying that I think the world will end... I AM NOT saying I think anything will necessarily happen on Dec 21, 2012... I am only remarking that the Mayan Calendar happens to be an incredibly precise fractal time-keeping system.. much more so than the Gregorian calendar we use today.
