Oh Carmen, I couldn't agree with you more.

This has been my philosophy and belief for years,
i.e."we deteriorate physically (and sometimes mentally)
because this is engrained in society's belief system"

I must admit it is harder to maintain the more the
years tick by- but I keep being given helpers -
people, ideas, suggestions - but the most important
is one's own attitude and belief.

More controversially - I believe the lack of sex or
sexual interest plays a part. Now this is a lack
that is more difficult to remedy!! And is there
ever a taboo here!

However, I do remember reading somewhere
that the way to agelessness was
"sex and social action" - and I think they may
have a point!
