A few thoughts

It's not easy to avoid things that don't resonate with you when they creep over into areas that they have nothing to do with.

I feel as if there are several factions here, all competing for space and the distribution of their ideas to the members here.

Hey Humble, there are lots more people like you here my friend, including me. All this bullsh..it about the new saviour, and everything that goes with it is mind numbing. I start to read a thread, if it goes in that direction, i control-alt-delete my mind and it goes away. Then i find a thread that resonates with me and i go into a good head space. You know what i mean?

Yeah, whether it's Obama or Paul or whoever else, it's all bullcrap.

Also, I don't think we need a document to start over in a new paradigm. It's just a piece of paper with words on it, much like the Bible. Both are pretty much useless in a new paradigm.

Yes Humble janitor you are feeling the same way as i.
When i came to this site i thought it would all be about the better good of the universe and how we can be lifted spiritually to higher knowledge but of course still resonating in this form and life style.
I'm not interested who runs what country and why, i have no faith in politics and central government i'm long done with all that. I want to move on to places i feel i need to be at this time.
The forum seems to be stuck at the moment with no new news coming in we are getting entangled back on this Earths leaders problems and their answers.
Don't we all know now that we are being manipulated by these powerful leaders who sacrifice all for the better of their own good!
Yes i think we do let's get on with the real business of becoming something more than this human form and become what we were meant to be that is trully wonderful and powerful energy life beings.

Any ideas anyone!!!!

It is easy to avoid. I start reading sth and if I see this is not my ball game I stop. As simple as that. I do not get upset, as some of you do, totally unnecessary. has it ever ocurred to you that what you write may annoy or upset other people?

I think the possibility is that we ALL write things that can/will annoy others at one time or another. We're a pretty diverse community and as a result have a lot of different viewpoints.

I have found that everything posted here speaks to someone - maybe not to me, but to someone, and I, personally, don't try to change it to something 'I' want it to be.

If it gets too far beyond the range of what I want to read, I stop reading certain threads. If the entire forum changes to something I'm uncomfortable with, then I stop reading the forum. If it's a technical issue, I notify the mods.

Just a consideration, HJ, but I think one can lead by example, but not from behind, pushing. If there are threads you find uncomfortable, then as they become so, you could move to something else, or start another.

at times i feel we members to be on somewhat of an island ... we're definately not part of the larger body of land next to us ... where the majority dwell ... we're different ... but different is beneficial ... both individually and as a group ... we are significant ...

so it's like we've been placed on this island ... distanced from the majority ... but knowing what's happening over there ... for a reason ...

together ... we're meant to figure something out ... something having to do with the bigger picture ... i have always felt this about avalon ... right after i joined i commenced feeling this ...

yet as we figure "it" out ... we also must figure our selves out ... and within ... as well as all other islanders ...

individually we are diverse ... all bringing a significant dot to this island ... now we navigate to connect our dots and integrate such with the dots on the mainland ... to figure "it" out ...

it's like we're meant to come to understand each other here ... respect what each of us brings with them ... discern what fits for our own selves and what doesn't ... to enable to clarify the bigger picture ...

if we can't navigate our selves ... a handful of islanders ... here and now ... with each other ... then how are we going to discern anything of larger proportions if need be back on mainland ... this is our practise island in this moment ... how can we effortlessly receive and send our truth to each other ... to effectively streamline the purpose of why we are here ...

do we believe being here like this is a "coincidence" ... i feel it is not ... no thing is a coincidence ...

Discerning the truth is the most difficult thing to do...but the truth is none the less what we need to proceed to our higher plain of existence ...be it not the truth we desire to hear..it is still what we need most at this time...

Many have preconceived notions of the truth...and what is real is not what their path led them to..but inevitably it is what we need to proceed to the next level...and in the end...will lead us to our destiny a destiny of truth...to behold a new tomorrow

I agree Me too i don't want to leave this plane of existence ashamed that i did not help others if i could as the truth we talk about belongs to all humankind.

The only problem i see about it is that without relevant academic defense the piece of hardcore information may only serve as another platform for doubts and disputes, and will be lost in the wild forrest of our imaginations whilst pure logic is easy to be mistaken .

The message is complicate enough to allow me to doubt my own educational skills...

can you see that the threads that you start serve well to divide people? Like the one about Avalon hating Jews. And now you say that you don't like people who this, some other time you don't like people who that. focus on the things you like and stop complaining about other people's views, opinions, topics,etc.
