I don't like to see pressure applied in this way.

Bill Ryan and Kerry Cassidy are two people among billions on this planet. Why single them out for this kind of pressure? There is no real reason - except for the tiny amount of sponsorship that many of us have donated to the cause.

In my opinion they have done enough good for us all and it seems entirely wrong and as I say somewhat ungrateful for people to be complaining. Most of you don't even know what they are doing - and there is no real reason IMO that you should. I am sure that if they planned to stop contributing they would be honest enough to come here and say that. Absent that situation - what is the real problem?

On the acknowledgment of volunteers (members, admins, moderators, librarians, owners!) - that is probably the biggest issue really. Each person that contributes time and information to this site to this site deserves some thanks, but is it the end of the world if they don't get it? The average level of spiritual focus amongst the active membership is (according to my take on it) exceedingly high - complaining about lack of recognition seems odd to me in that context.

On the change of direction from free to paying - well there was a time for debate, but it was long ago in terms our accelerating passage of time. A choice was made and it stands today - regardless of who agrees or not. Despite the changes introduced by subscription, and despite the recent lack of commentary by two *people* this forum has adapted well and maintained its purpose pretty well .

Sure if B&K they came and chatted here for a bit it would be nice, but would it really make that much difference? ( Except to slow them down :-) )

For what it's worth, I am pretty sure they will be back and will comment. The focussed intent of pretty much everyone on this thread will make it so

A..

PS: A BIG THANK YOU to all the LIBRARIANS, ADMINS, MODERATORS AND CONTRIBUTING MEMBERS! - and the owners - B&K I still think this site is amazing and worth every voluntarily and freely donated cent !
Anchor, you just said all that should've been said my friend.

Especially the part about deserving thanks...the one who contributes here from within his/her heart doesn't even expect to hear some THANK YOU words.

It's all about unconditional giving without any expectations. And I'm very happy to know that there are so many here doing just that...

But that shouldn't stop me of saying THANK YOU to all of YOU...and also to B&K for all they've done so far...even if not contributing on the forum...
By the way, is there any need for this?

Unconditional love doesn't expect or need any thanks. We all contribute here one way or another , proportionally to our abilities and knowledge. If somebody ackowledges it...fine, if not....fine as well. At least this is my approach. Things look a bit different when money is involved. If I pay, i expect the product or service to be delivered.

Please, lets stick together and make this a good place to share knowledge
and discuss issues. Bill and Kerry are working very hard and risk their lives to
make this all happen, my deepest respect for them. The fact that they
created this community in the first place is already worth a lot to me.

Also my deepest respect for all forum people, we are here to make this work
and are doing a good job. We are with many and we don't have to agree on
anything, that's why the discussions are so interesting. People from all walks
of life share their oppinion. We all seek growth, knowledge and wisdom and
this place can help you with that. I am gratefull to have found this forum, it
is a RARE place and worth fighting for.

I'm glad to support this place with my $5 a month, it's a steal for the
information I find here. Show a little persistence.

Kerry thanks all who have helped with these projects, explains why Bill and Kerry are not active on the forum, and explains why she is moving back to California.

"I am moving back to California after living 6 months in Sedona (a fabulous place!) because I want to work on various screenplay projects and being in close proximity to Hollywood will facilitate bringing those ideas to the screen and last but not least, I miss the ocean!!"
