We humans have strange expressions don't you think? . . . cars break down, schools break up, burglars break in and measles break out and golly, I'm just about broke. I guess dem's just da breaks.

Oops, I must race home.

I've just remembered it's rubbish day today and I haven't put my bin out, I wheelie haven't.

Back again, that didn't take long - just as well I live under the far table.

If you've ever wondered why Avalon Lounge is open 24/7, it's because some rowdies pinched the doors one night.

You know, we get a great crowd in here every night - every day too for that matter. I haven't had so much fun or laughed so much since my brother screwed casters on grandad's crutches. He was a great old bloke with a fantastic sense of humour - as he lay moaning and groaning at the bottom of the stairs, I asked him if he'd missed a step and he replied, "No! I hit every bloody one!"

Welcome Czymra,

come in and join the mad crowd. They can get pretty wild at times. Sometimes the animals are better behaved than the humans. Be warned though, the girls can drink you under the table as often as not. I've spent many an hour under there.

Front up to the bar Czymra and order what you want, your first drink is on me.

don't know what to tell ya cyzmra ... i've only been frequenting of late ... what ya see is what ya get ...

sometimes there's pimped alpakah's ... dancin hippos ... wannabe turtle men ... variety's the spice of life around here ...

you can find members on the floor ... under tables ... flattened under hippos ... locked up in the ladies room ...

hey ... anyone check to see if rhythm and carmen got locked up again ... don't hear any bangin on the walls ...

and cyzmra ... the drinks can be lethal so you might wanna start with somethin tame ... somethin with an umbrella in it??? hmm?

and cyzmra ... careful where you step ... sometimes brinty snoozes on the floor ...

funny you should mention that. photo was taken in may of this year at bonaire. a small island of the coast of venaswalia, dive site is witches hut. I hit 130' depth on that dive. I think there just air bubbles.

Oh dear! Where are my blood pressure pills? I've been hijacked! I was having a flight of fancy and fell asleep. When I awoke, I recognized one of Avalon Lounge's regular patrons blocking my return to the flight deck.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining and I don't need to be rescued but I will need my blood pressure pills and probably some viagra.

Do I hear you ask why?

Quick, hurry with the pills - I'm starting to fade again . . . . .Oh bugger . . . . .

Gosh! I must have had too much alcohol before taking my medication - I've just had the wierdest dream. There I was, flying with Foster Brooks when I was offered a cocktail by the flight attendant. I started to feel faint and went back to the men's room. Then, when I tried to return to the driver's compartment to take over from Foster, the same flight attendant began tearing her clothing off and blocked my path. I really didn't know what to do.

I think she must have slipped something into that drink she brought me. My heart started to race and the blood rushed to my head, I began to feel strange urges - then someone grabbed my hand and we squeezed past her . . . . then I woke up!

DAMN and BLAST!
