Default A tribute to the inherent grace and beauty of souls

“In exploring the shared language and poetic sensibilities of all animals, I am working towards rediscovering the common ground that once existed when people lived in harmony with animals. The images depict a world that is without beginning or end, here or there, past or present.”
—Gregory Colbert, Creator of Ashes and Snow

The first time I saw a picture of Gregory Colbert was when a dear friend here in Avalon sent one to me.
As I was looking at it it captivated me entirely as I felt it was reaching me straight into the soul.
I was gratefull and in awe .

I later discovered more pictures of this Artist and found out they were part of a movie " Ashes and Snow " and the exhibition surrounding it which travelled worldwide.

When I look at those photos I see Love expressed as Oneness between souls .
Oneness between all souls be it the human kingdom, the animal kingdom, the Earth kingdom.
No bounderies to Love , endless Love .Sacred Love..

And has Gregory Colbert says « This world is without beginning or end, here or there, past or present »..

To me they convey the fine vibratory level of souls when they are free .
Connecting into Love and Oneness is a natural process to souls .Its the core of their essence.

When all barriers are dropped it’s like laying our guns down..
We do not put a distance any longer from one to another, we do not put distrust , we do not put fear, we do not hide in defense.
We leave these behind , we remove the veil of illusion and as naked souls we open our hearts and we find we are free.
Free to pervade, each with our unique soul signatures, everyone and everything, the universe at large.

This is were we are heading to ..This is the secret behind the new plane we are moving into..
To become transparent and to express our inherent grace and beauty which Sacred Love is.

So I share some of these pictures with you and the films.
May these reach your souls with bliss as they did it for me .

Loving Kindness to you
Mudra

Thank you, Mudra. Animals hold a special place in my heart. These pictures along with your words are beautiful and do touch my soul. I too believe we are headed in the direction where we can live side by side with all life as one.

Beautiful, evocative images but sadly a painful reminder of a very stark truth; man has never lived in harmony with animals. We hunted them for food, warmth and belongings ever since we were mear hunter gathering on the vast plains and we discovered that as a single unit we were weak and ill defended, but as a pack and armed with tools we were mighty.

Nothing was beyond being killed by us; the mighty elephant, the whale, the big cats of the plains all fell at our feet.

never have we ever sat and cuddled a wild big cat. Either it ate us, or we ate and wore it.

However, beautiful images and a treasure to behold for that alone.

many years ago i heard david suzuki speak that mankind's weakness within will strive to make extinct all animals on this planet that are physically larger than we are, that it will be fear within our own selves that will perish their existance

i have remembered this, wouldn't have believed it would be so but sadly, we seem to be headed in that direction, so much of the animal kingdom suffers at the hands of our own fear

as we have created this imbalance, we can restore balance ...

better wild than worn

Truly Exquisite!! Yes, we are connected. Mankind will one day return to the innocence and purity that allows such connections as these depicted here to be commonplace. That will be an awesome day. So beautiful! Thank you for posting these.

This world is possible. It has been experienced by some of our kind before, thus making it a possibility, a path.

Will it be possible for all to take this path, I do not think so. But I am sure the ones who take on this path, will be pioneers of a New World where all Life manifested will live in harmony.

You are an angel Mudra, keep the good work. Steven

Beautiful pictures, beautiful and inspiring words. This is the life I have always yearned for deep down my soul. I dreamed of being able to caress wild animals, being able to put my hand on the head of a lion or leopard, touch the trunk of a wild African elephant (like in one of your pictures) or the body of a deer. Life where there is no killing of any sort.....

Mudra
beautiful inspiring art -- such a wonderful soul to feel and see so deeply the emotions and portray artistically the sensitive communication of light animals and the heartfelt transmission of the human heart of children

We are all souls and this world as taught us to forget this nature or rather those not from here that control our thinking. This you have all heard before I know and this leaves everyone powerless in how to act.

Just look at the pictures and think. We humans have to stop relying on touch. We need it to feel part of something and be connected. You always wish to place your hand on a animal to feel the feeling of love. Why not work on using the mind (your true connection to your soul) to connect with another. If you use the mind to touch with loving intention then there is no need to stroke an animal to gain its trust. (the soul will connect and erase all fear in both)

What I am trying to get across is that they and us are stuck by our different ways - but it is us that are lost not them. The animal kingdom is in perfect harmony. We need to go back to basics and learn to understand them.

How is this done? Forget the noise of tech that effects us and listen to birds singing, identify what they mean, say to each other. Look at nature and you will in time see its power that is more than any computer, ipod, psp, drug, alcohol etc.

This thread is a message.

I hope this helps and makes sense.

We have to share this world for the benifit of harmony. We cannot go forward on our own.

Look at us now making our own way, it is not good is it!

We have to respect the earth if we wish to go froward.

Hi mudra

My pet dog whose very old now has often made it apparent that he knows my mind at times. He knows when im coming home from work. When he goes for a nap in the bedroom if i think of him he usually gets up and comes to me. He knows to get his favorite toy when i think of it. This is all true and leaves me believing that we share a spiritual connection.

When i was around 7 or 8 years old i was at the coast on holiday. The night time club for families had a security guard who mingled and joined in with everyone there. He had an Alsation called sheba who took a very loving interest in me. From what Im told she would know when i was coming with my parents and perch herself along a low window sill awaiting my arrival. Although she went to others, sat and ate their crisps etc with me she felt a duty to protect. Im told i would run outside to the play area with Sheba and play games. The security guard was amazed and proud of his dog. One evening as we approached a man ran into me by accident(apparently) and knocked me down. Sheba had been watching and ran outside towards me - a long distance. She attacked the man and brought him down. I recall feeding her lots of crisps after this.

My previous career involved house visits and I met many pets of various tempermant that kind of just trust me. It all leaves me thinking i must eminate a aura that animals feel a peace with.
