Has anyone felt an extra sense of calm today?
I can't describe it. Perhaps it is just to coming of autumn, maby the calm before the 'storm' (Hope not), or even an actual sense of peace coming from collective thought. |

I have been feeling the same. Kind of unmotivated too.

My wife and I both felt a strong sense of calm today. I'm glad others felt this way too.

Felt really unmotivated yesterday, and still feeling it today.
It was really hot yesterday and today it is raining. But I'm not sure if that is proof of anything. |

A tiredness, a malaise does hang in the air.
I think it is the frenzy of recent global events. The U.S. and other Capitalist markets have revealed significant weaknesses. Cold War tensions once thought done have arisen anew to make us question the underlying stability of the world. Americans especially, Republicans and Democrats, are anxious and biting their nails to put the last eight years behind them. Nothing blew up today, and by today's standards, that seems to be a pretty good day. A cold front came through here earlier, before it did we were on the outer edge of the outgoing air mass. It was sticky and humid, about 80 degrees. Then the front came through. Humidity rose, but within minutes it was cool enough that it didn't matter. I was right there, and felt the transition - I could swear the tempreature difference was only seperated by inches. That was a moment that God, the universe, my higher power, whatever it is, wanted me to feel - I know that. That feeling made me feel really at ease. Calm. It ain't just you L., this is synchronicity at work. Peace. |
