We're here...Houston area. Been a Texan all my life and have never seen one like this one. Please visualize a positive outcome for us! A very real concern is that 20-25% of the world's oil refineries are about to take a direct hit and they sit at sea level. The repercussions from this one may be very far reaching for a very long time. The storm is due to hit in about 12 hours and already the water surge is as high as it ever was AFTER and DURING the time the storm hits the coast.

Watching it live and it looks unbelievable from here, I never thought of Houston as on the coast, but it's taking a direct hit from this Hurricane, they are showing storm surges washing over the walls...

How close are you?

I have some extended family near the Houston area, myself. The majority of my family chose not to evacuate out of the area. Whalerider, I have and will continue to send out my positive intention that every being is safe.
