That is brilliant brilliant info....... If that info saves one life it is priceless........i am fortunate that i do not know what a earthquake is or even a tremor living where i do but that info was utterly priceless thankyou also very interesting reading and opened my eyes as i am a nebosh trained health and safety officer, this info should be made mandatory reading even to uk and european emergency services. Well done sir

It's all about luck. Planes crashes, earth quakes, explosions, it's random and being at the right place at the right time that improves your odds of survival.
