Are Our Religious Idea's Our Own?

1984 -> Government controls its own opposition for general population control purposes.

If it is about control, then that <control> analog could also be used for religions.. (Or religious Ideas.)
(In a way, and a viewpoint a Government IS a religion.. But that is another discussion.)

For example, IN a splendid thread not to long ago, the issue was raised that Viruses don't exist or their existence has NOT been proven.... Then why are we vaccinated at birth or shortly after? Or is that the chemical equivalent to Alcohol in the test tube of the workers's from "A Brave New World - Aldous Huxley"?

Not saying anything bad here, about people, that believe in any kind of religion and receive much good from believing or acting in the spirit of good of said religion...
