I don't know Lisa Williams at all, but I am on the lookout for quake updates.
George Ure at Urban Survival is linked into the Half Past Human webbot project. They have been seeing earthquake happening in their model space around Dec.10-12, two of them. Near as I've seen one is maybe South America and another one is Pacific Northwest or maybe West Coast. They had a very alarming confirmation today. Read down on today's news to the section called Coping:Quakes Rising. http://www.urbansurvival.com/week.htm The Horizon Project has a quake frequency chart here that is scary to look at: http://www.thehorizonproject.com/earthquakes.cfm Their short article about the graph appears here: http://www.thehorizonproject.com/news.cfm#quakeupdate I don't know about you all, but when multiple sources come to the same conclusion, it's worth putting on your radar. |

I have watched Lisa many times. She is extraordinary alright. She is fantastic She makes my blood boil with her prediction. In not one show have I seen her say anything that was out of line. She doesn't guess on names, she knows them! The way she talks to the dead is enought to make one cry. This woman is truly blessed
thanks so much for sharing this |

All of these predictions of earthchanges took place before the most recent nexus/parallel shift/mayan calendar change, name it what you will...we just changed time lines, so the chances of someone actually predicting, in the past, something happening on this experienced timeline is questionable. A lot of people made predictions whose outcomes could very well take place in other realities, but the only predictions I have seen where Obama won have all been much more positive without extreme earthchanges. I do believe the more we focus on catastrophes, the better chance we will have to experience them, since it seems to be what people want...maybe not enough excitement in your lives? I've got enough in mine.
The last time we had an earthquake in Seattle was many years ago and momma earth made sure no one was hurt as she did her shimmy gracefully as possible. Lets realize, again, that we do get what we put our attention on. Predictions seem to always be based and translated in old energy anyway. Not a bad idea to always have extra supplies around. One never knows what life will bring, but best to focus on creating a beautiful world where the planet adores us, we her and all of her gorgeous creations. Sorry if I sound too priesty. |

I read the yahoo news article about crawling UNDER sturdy furniture.
Perhaps not a good idea - check the Triangle of Life info here. Another list of seismic data. Last edited by Avid; 11-13-2008 at 11:53 AM. |

Hi iainl140285,
I thought I was on to something new when I posted about the Earthquake drill this morning. I was six months too late. ![]() So I had just had to do some research. Earthquakes are fascinating. They happen every day, so predicting one isn't all that hard to do. I predict that today there will be an earthquake. I bet I can find one. ![]() If you are really into earthquakes there is a lot of data out there about how they form and what they are, even probably when and where they will occur. The problem is not knowing when they will occur, but how to get this information out to the public. So scientists say that the 'Big One' will happen within the next 30 years or so. Of course they need to practice what they need to do in the event of such a phenomenon, just like they do in Japan, or like we did at school with fire drills. We only knew about the earthquake drill because of the news sources, but if we were really interested in the natural proces of the planet, there is an organization and website dedicated to the Great Southern California Shake Out http://www.shakeout.org/ . The site owner is: Mark Benthien So. Cal. Earthquake Center 3561 Trousdale Pkwy #169 Los Angeles California 90089 US Phone: +1.2137400323 They have been planning for this drill for yonks, have over 5 million members on their site and parallel to this have congresses all over the US happening on the same day (yesterday) and today. Nothing like a huge drill to advertise all the congresses. ![]() It's funny as they even have an online game on the site called "Beat the Quake"! But anyway, what I'm trying to say is that predicting earthquakes is based on facts... it's a science and a lot of people / scientists are doing it. The fact that we don't know about it doesn't mean to say that they don't exist. I respect Lisa Williams and even thank her, as it was through her that I started my research to find out how to predict earthquakes. Now we are both gifted. ![]() Best regards, Steve Quote:

If anyone has seen Alex Collier`s stuff he says in the video that 2 disasters would strike the U.S. one natural and the second man made the first being California would be reduced to 8 islands he didn`t say how big they would be . Not trying to play the fear card here just inform

I had seen the Horizon Projects earthquake chart a couple of weeks ago. The Horizon chart shows a stable trend through about 1997 or so, and a large increase at that time. I knew at the time I wanted to download the data from the U.S. Geological Survey website and reproduce the charts myself.
And I am glad I did. I do not get the results the Horizon Project shows in their charts. The only source they refer to, is back to USGS. They say their chart represents Worldwide earthquake data of earthquakes between magnitudes 6 and 8. Their chart values on the left show quantities, by year, ranging up to 40. Even that number is inaccurate. I have no idea where they got their numbers. I have created my own chart. I show you exactly where the numbers are from the USGS web sites. I picked the last 18 years to match to the Horizon chart. I took the USGS numbers starting with 1990, and the 18 year period, if it were to match, should show the large climb Horizon shows. It does NOT. You’ll see the numbers I loaded into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet below the chart. I took the direct USGS numbers and added totals for all earthquakes 6.0 and larger. You can see, the average numbers PER YEAR exceed 100… so where does Horizon get numbers below 40? Their numbers do NOT compute! The data does not support a theory that earthquakes have been increasing significantly in recent years. I welcome anyone to re-check these numbers and if more information comes to light, I’m interested in hearing about it. Here’s what my analysis of the data from USGS shows: http://neic.usgs.gov/neis/eqlists/eqstats.html http://neic.usgs.gov/neis/eqlists/info_1990s.html ![]() |

I regularly go to the IRIS Siesmic Monitor site http://www.iris.edu/seismon/ which shows a detailed diagram of all quakes as they occur, and also show magnitude and what quakes have taken place over a period between 2 weeks ago and the present, as a world map.

I believe Half Past Human is predicting two Quakes in Early December, one in Northwest USA and one possibly in South America.
I've been hearing about this on www.urbansurvival.com This comment jives with that.... |

I am going to post this as a new post as well but this is on the frontpage of Yahoo news at the moment....sorry if everyone is already aware, I haven't turned on the telly all day...just found it odd after I had post this. I mean they have known about the earthquakes for years, now they are just starting to rehearse? *thinks*

I live down in San Diego County, about 50 miles or so from where I grew up. My wife and I have both sat through some good ones - she was in the big Hayward quake in '89. The first person I know of to predict "The Big One" was Jean Dixon, way back in the early '60s, and we've been waiting ever since. Someday it'll happen.
If the land west of the San Andreas Fault were to drop below sea level, we'd lose everything west of a line from the Salton Sea up through San Fransisco Bay. There would probably be islands left behind to mark the locations of the highest peaks in the coastal mountain ranges. In tomorrow's drill, the envisioned quake would last upwards of two minutes. I can tell you from experience that one that lasts 15-20 seconds seems absolutely endless. Most last 10 seconds or less. The counties north of San Diego would take the brunt of the damage. It really is possible for large parts of Los Angeles to sink into the sea. In the original structural damage, survival would have a random factor. Next would come the fires and the lack emergency services or power. The following days would be very grim. Here in San Diego County the damage would be less, but we'd almost surely have no power and no water, maybe for weeks in some areas. In a severe enough seismic event, we could find ourselves separated from the mainland, part of a long island that included Baja California. There isn't much to be done to prepare for such an event. The first priority is making it through the quake itself. You dive for a triangular space made by the edge of a stout piece of furniture and whatever comes crashing down on top of it. Then, hopefully you make it out of the rubble. If the building remains standing, we have food and water for about two weeks for the two of us and our pets. We have batteries and candles, and a good first-aid kit. Having done what we can to prepare, we don't worry about what might happen. |
