I notice it is impossible to get some space from members to function as mod and be a human being and a posting member as well.

Oke.
I got it.

I kind of get what Deepblu was saying and I don't think it was trash talk, the choice of her dress gave me an uncomfortable feeling.

Don't get me wrong, although not a US Citizen, I was rooting for Obama as I thought he was the right choice, but that dress did make me feel uncomfortable and I can't put my finger on just why!

Jenny you told me that if I edited my post you would apologize to the OP for coming in as a moderator and labeling the thread THRASH...

You were the person who initiated the offensive behavior...

Then you come back with a defensive "oke. I got" remark... and still havnt apologized

The dress looks like a black widow... That is VERY strange... We all know that the elite are very into symbolism and occult behavior.

To me it looks like the OP was right and it wasnt thrashing or whatever you want to call it. Who are we to judge the non relavence of occult symbolism... especially during a presidential election.

hi Deepblu ...

I don't have any views about political aspects of any of this, nor the people involved .. I just popped in to let you know that yes, I had a rather strange experience/feeling too.. even more unusual as I never take any notice of people's clothes etc.. doesn't generally register to me what people are wearing... I wasn't even watching the TV.. it was turned on, but muted (silent mode), as I busy doing something else..

for some unknown reason I glanced over to the TV on the other side of room, at exactr moment she appeared on screen (nightly news prog) .. and I've no idea why, but I found myself staring/fixed gazed at the dress, weird sensation came over me too.. it only lasted a minute or so I imagne, but felt like ages.. was very strange.. as if my eyes had been directly guided to it.. and I couldn't take my gaze off the dress... like being hypnotised or in a daydream or something (where you stare off into space and your eyebaqlls get kind of 'fixed' on one spot?) .. well, I kid you not, that's what happened...

what's even more weird was I actually felt a wave of physical discomfort come over my body.. a strange and quite sickly sensation.. like it "went right into me" ... and was most unpleasant.. very ODD indeed!

I tell you this just because I found it so weird, and felt so peculiar all of a sudden. When I managed to 'snap out' of my fixed gazing at it, I went over and turned off the TV immediately, and went outside for some fresh air (in middle of night!). That's how weird/odd I felt!! It felt like nothing at all related/about Mrs Obama, but it WAS a feeling I got from the dress itself.

WEIRD!

Good heaven's people...give it up!! This family has managed to move the whole world.

Yes, the dress was ugly. But, most of the family was wearing something red, the color of the Republican party, quite classy I would say.

There is nothing worse than character assassination specially from people who do not know a person or persons. Feelings, hearsay do not count. They are shaded by our sentiments and perceptions.

People's actions are a reflection of their character and I have first hand knowledge of some of the things Obama did when he was not famous.

Even McCain has had a lot of elegance and class in his defeat. Learn from this gentleman.

Go take a look at the New York Times and world wide views and behavior. And then go take a look at the work of Rupert Sheldrake. Google it. I am not giving any links.

The serpent's feet and head will soon be destroyed. The insanity we have been living with for millenia is about to end.

Obama is the representation of against all odds. The dark side should be trembling. And their spreading of fear and disinfo and the fact that they have always been the anti christ will not work anymore.

Shesh!!!!

Obama is funded by the same people George Bush was...

They always put out somebody who looks clean...

But I assure you if he is on TV... for christ sake he has his own channel on dish network... He is on thier side!

Hello Esther,

my comments were in no way anything about the people, mrs Obama or anyone else, nor anything about "character assassination". I personally don't have any feelings/interest about her one way or another, nor any of the other political characters on the world's stage.

I was simply relating that I had a very strange physical experience/'reaction' to the dress. Something I've never had happen before. Nothing to do with her, just her dress!

Peace

Hey "Blu", it's Kimmie from Florida,

Aren't you amazed at the responses this thread...and the dress !!... has stimulated!!

I'm a designer of womens fashions and costumes, and I have to say that dress fit into the middle of those two catagories!!

When I saw her walk on stage in it, I said to myself, "what the heck is She wearing???". I tried to envision it without the jacket and still was amazed at her choice. In all the photo's and TV shots of Mrs. O, she presents herself as conservative, and dignified...in my opinion, so if this was ment to "show a little flair for the unusual" Michelle accomplished that !

Yet I don't believe that was her intention. The symbolizm you all have mentioned makes the feeling I got when I saw the dress understandable, and maked her choice have meaning!! Isn't it interesting that she down played attention to herself until she knew "they' had been elected.

I do believe the partnership of husband and wife carries over from average couple all the way to positions of leadership and persidency is a very good example of that. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Thank you all for the details on the symbolism, and thanks Blu for starting the thread.

Kimmie

Okay, to be clear before I start I am not here to bash or slag anyone off and I am not an Obama hater nor anything else.

However, the whole ensemble of the Obama family was very strange indeed...

Michelle's black and red dress was an unusual choice given the occassion and the colouring of the stage setting being navy blue, they just didn't fit together and you have to remember EVERYTHING at this event was planned and co-ordinated.

But even wierder when you add to that the two children one dressed all in black and the other all in red?

It left me wondering 'what on earth' does all that mean and I agree I felt quite strange viewing it?

777 your posts are an interesting take on thing's.

Jenny, I feel you are being more than a little harsh, you can't just trash/thrash peoples posts like that!

Please be more polite in future, you are after all a Moderator here and people have a right to discuss without being 'threatened' for their point of view with such distasteful desires by Moderators to remove their threads based on their own belief systems.

I think this is a valid point for discussion, something was definately going on with those clothing choices and yeah I also wondered WHO picked their outfits...Hmmmm?

Hi.
I also feel Mrs. Obama's dress has much more meaning, she (Mrs O)
seems to be a very deliberate, everything said and done byn her has a meaning....if nothing else I would say that dress says; Look out don't cross me! she is a scarey person!

Well people are certainly talking about "that dress."

I caught just a glance of it on TV and had a bit of a horror reaction - like what the h* was that!?!

Doing a search for
"black widow spider" dress,
I found this post.

"Her dress is a design from Narciso Rodiguez, ready to hit the fashion runways around the spring of 2009.

below is a link which details more

WOW Thanks for the response and support, ya'll.

Let's be clear again...'no judgement, criticism'..just a strange observation.

I didn't watch the election, I don't believe in that cesspool..I mean, system anymore. (It's clearly a pageant run by the elite every four years for the rest of us, to make us think our voice counts.....blah...anyway...)

If I did still buy into all that, Ron Paul would have been my first choice...when that fizzled, I would have gone with Obama. Their campaigns were totally geared to make the republican side less desirable. Ya think?

I don't even have a particular opinion about the dress, I just saw a clip of news this morning and the image, as a whole, just sorta jumped at me. I had to get on the computer and look for another pic, like I couldn't believe what I had just seen!

Definately NOT 'thrashing, trashing or dissing'...they're are a lovely family and whether we like it or not, they're a part of our family...let us not forget that for any of them for even a moment.

no FEAR.....just LOVE folks! Everyone here knows which path we're on. Agreed?

I'd especially like to thank:

Corky-Thanks for the link! I'm always looking for new info and a new perspective

777 The Great- That's the question that got me...was this picture put there for a reason..a symbol...maybe something to 'their people' like..'yea, we got this, see?' Weird!

seekur3, Pamela, Worlds Beyond, Sahara-Thanks for gettin' me! Your confirmations are a comfort and most appreciated!

Hi Kimmie! I sew too!! Amazing! More of an art thing with me, but I love it.

Still, wasn't the dress itself that caught my attention. Nope, it was the design on the dress.

Again, Thanks to everyone

Let's Keep Walking in Love!

No, when you have a hidden agenda, the numbers symbols and colors have to be displayed in extensive repetiton because symbols go into the right brain which is where we are spiritually connected. This use of symbols will bring about the desired results( law of attraction and electromagnetism). It IS freaking witchcraft.

Hey Frank

BIG assumptions mate. Talk about negative ("black ugly woman"), we are talking about the possible symbolism in her attire and you just really dropped the bar.

She is an attractive black woman just as I am so your tone, even in jest is the only offence here.

You could have very easily not posted here if this was not you cup of tea.

BTW it's bling bling.
