Interesting. You already have a chatbox in secret. That would be two chatboxes. But our public one would not be connected to the site you are suggeting a link? That is not the same if it's not inbuilt into the forum it becomes a seperate thing altogether. The difference is clear isn't it? We don't have the tools nor the permission to make a chatroom inbuilt into the forum it's for the owners.

It certainly is up to everyone to sort a chatroom out if they want one. Take it into consideration there is a demand on this particular site though. If I made that much effort I'd make my own site in that case.
