Pachelbel Canon in D is the most requested and suggested wedding music in the Atlanta area. (I'm talking live string quartet.) After listening to violin music being played and rehearsed for the past eleven years (three times a week) it has definitely changed my "waves" and I'm not the player. (My daughter studies the Suzuki method.) The children taking these lessons, and performing live, have huge increases in math ability, among other things. This Pachelbel Canon is such a strong piece of music that can settle in your brain and body. It always makes my tears running and afterwards I feel so relieved and clear.
My grandchildren study the Suzuki method also at the Waldorf school. This Canon is one of the first things they learn to play.
