Thank You Oliver, your poem really speaks to me!
it is interesting because this rant from my heart called "I WANT YOU" was written for the children of the world. I'm also reminded of this poem by Alice Vedral Rivera... "Children of Tomorrow" From you - our future From you - we borrow You are the children Of all our sorrow Children of tomorrow In the aftermath of today What will you do? What will you say? Children of tomorrow Ours in every way What are your horrors? What price will you pay? Children of tomorrow Living with our legacy Can you survive? Can you stay free? From you - our future From you - we borrow You are the children Of all our sorrow ~ love is ~ |

Illuminate, it is amazing for me how this beautiful poem brings me the same feelings I had when got the impulse to wrote what I wrote.
Beautiful poem! With much pain, but still more hope. Now, I am completely interested about the author. ![]() And, thank YOU for initiating this noble thread. Love&Respect Quote:

a quote from Miriam Delicado that just says it all:
“One voice, one people, one Earth. Be responsible and others will follow. Remember who you are, we are all connected. Speak from your heart, speak clearly and together we will create the change we need in the world.” ~ one love ~ |

Fear! The single greatest detriment to personal achievment. If you don't mind I going to use some of your words to help my young children with their 'fears'. Imaginary fear prevents real advancement. Such a shame.

I started this thread with the children of the world in mind. fear isn't natural or real; it's taught, pushed, and forced upon others to control and manipulate. no offense to any catholics out there, but I was brought up catholic and I was taught to fear everything... most horrifying, I was taught to fear God! I wish someone would have told me as a child that fear was a choice and that the choice was mine to make. could you imagine what a different world we'd be in if they taught us "choice" in schools? to question everything and make up our own minds? we can choose fear or we can choose love things are changing... it starts with us. ~ choose love ~ |
