Overpopulation is the biggest threat to the human race.

I'm against eugenics, but support Planned Parenthood. Not saying a human life is on the same level as a dog or cat, but: Why do people spay/neuter their pets?- so there aren't tons more animals born when there are already a very many that are euthanized because they can't find a proper home. Birth control is vital to maintaining and inproving the quality of life on this planet IMO.

There's something about having your own child to love and realizing suddenly that the universe does not revolve around you. It seems to me one of the first steps in realizing that we are all one. I don't think you can compare it to a dog or cat. Even though I love my dogs (three) and cat dearly.
