No, it is not.

Just to clarify the position of Project Avalon, excessive use of over the top attention grabbing formats such as ALL CAPS, large text, alarmist and panicky URGENT headlines are not desired and may be edited by moderators to remove such.

Many new and some older members appear to need to reread Avalons mission. All members are expected to contribute to the positive energy and attitude of the forum. While healthy debate is a traditional and integral part of all critical inquiry, members are expected to be open-minded, committed to learning, and responsive to well-intentioned feedback.
Posting a headline of a major quake like "6.2 quake in lala land today" in the NEWS forum is of course acceptable. However "IRAN READY TO NUKE US NEXT TUESDAY!!! BEWARE!!" is ridiculous and totally out of alignment with our purpose.
Project Avalons staff are currently working on this and other problems and developing viable solutions that will be implemented in the near future, fear mongering or negative threads will be a thing of the past at Avalon.

There are two reasons anyone talks fear and panic............


1. They are genuinely panicked as to what is going on in the world.....many are more materialistically inclined and feel if their physical world disappears so does their existance.............to those people I am addressing to go to the site..............www.michaelsharp.org


2. They are genuinely set out to panick and spread lies & fears anywhere they can.............whether paid off to do so or not.......They should learn to see a bigger picture of the world in the cosmos...............to those people I am addressing to go to the site.........www.michaelsharp.org



In regards to whether we mods should close down every negative thread..........I feel that isn't the first choice.....however if it continues , it is something that can be discussed.....we mods don't just casually close threads......

Part of me feels that this kind of question is healthy....

It keeps us on our toes... if it were a thread full of Panic.. that would be discouraging....

I may be wrong about this ... but if we keep our awarenesses on high, this might cause them to think twice before attempting to such an event...
