this post, was just too personal/and,
private to leave up, so, we regret that we, the poster has choosen to remove it suffice to say; it is exceedingly sad, that people do NOT work together, and, create more worth together, and, do it as teams ~ and, really create things together ... this is my last comment ~ to this thread Last edited by THE eXchanger; 01-29-2010 at 03:44 PM. |

Hi Susan, I'm truly sorry you are going through these rough waters as the seas have become a bit turbulent for many. We went through a very difficult period a number of years back and understand how the Universe tends to step in and take charge when for one personal reason or another we didn't move quickly enough. It taught me absolute faith in the rightness of the Universe's interventions.
I truly wish you the best on your book and suggest you self-publish through AuthorHouse which is very good and links your book onto amazon.com With AuthorHouse you don't have anyone to edit out sections of your book and you don't have to look for a publisher to print or market it and they send a check on a quarterly basis for books sold. Self-publishing a book is about $700 I think. From your many posts I know you have a wealth of information that others would enjoy knowing about. Please feel free to pop in and share yourself when it works best for you as we all enjoy you and appreciate your numerous efforts of kindness to others. I've noticed how you have gone out of your way to befriend so many new members and thought your actions such a kind gesture for someone new coming onto the forum. Take heart dear one. You are just entering into a new chapter of your life... a better time ahead as old paradigms shift around and the financial situation settles back down.

I caregive part time for a senior.
I paint (landscapes) as often as I can......feeds my soul. I love what I do I get paid as a caregiver and I have a benefactor who supports me financially with all my painting supplies....framing, paint, etc. And I have another friend who has given me free studio space in his "mill house" on a pond. My "other job" is Systems Buster in the Free Will Universe. lightwalker |

susan, I managed to catch your long and eloquent post late last night pre edit. I was wondering if there was anything useful I could say to respond.
Now I see that heartfelt message reduced to saying posting on Camelot/Avalon does not pay, but honestly, whoever here thought it would? I vaguely remember you as "white lotus flower" on Tsarion's forum, anyhow, I remember you also saying you were friends with him. Did you never experience his extreme distate for altruism? I think what that means to me is put your own life vest on first. Were you giving to get something? and you didn't get it? I don't understand why you feel so let down, no one asked you to post so much or take time away from what you needed to do to create a solid base. I sincerely hope you can use your time away from here to do just that . Sorting out your house /business problems may be easier than you thought when you give it your full attention, and you may find the help you need right where you are. The whole idea of the ground crew does make me laugh, I basically have one friend from years of internet interactions, but that is no guarantee we would get along in person or that they would help me in reality. Sometimes the bitterest disappointments put our feet on the ground, which is what we need if our heads are in the stars. Very very best of luck to you in the changes ahead, you may find help is closer than you think. My job? recyclopath. if it aint broke, I don't want it... ![]() |

That's a good question! It seems we're from all kinds of disciplines and work.
I work as a Nanny and Healthfoodconsultant, participating in the translation team of Project Camelot. As volunteer I take care of an ecological garden, build as a kind of folly, in a park near my home. ![]() |

if i may present our just finished first real video - hope you enjoy
the title is "everything is forgiven" the song is written by myself and the story of the video, which in its basics is also from me, is supposed to be a contrast to the meaning fo the words a catalyst sorta - so whats it about? love and forgiveness or materialism? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLmJ6JO5hBA |

Nerf herder.
A Star Wars reference — a "nerf herder" is a fictional occupation referred to by Princess Leia in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, when she insults Han Solo for arrogantly asserting that she has romantic feelings for him: "Why you stuck-up, half-witted, scruffy-looking nerf herder!" A machinist, capable of everything from bulk production, to one-off pieces, and tooling. Hand machine work, programmable machine work. Even sent all over the world to teach same.
Then the US decided manufacturing was icky, and decided we'd rather be poor than working. So.... CAD Drafting & Design. I've worked in the design/R&D depts. of places that built particle accelerators, SCUBA gear, even ultra-pure chemical generators for Micro-Chip manufacturing. Then the US decided we don't want that kind of thing around here and sent that offshore too. So.... Networking, Computer Management, Database admin, etc. Even went back to school for it. Pretty good at small business network management, and Web/Database design, if'n I do say so myself. Then, age discrimination decided that anyone over 45 can't possibly know anything useful about computers, even though I've been involved since 1978. So... What I do for a living is send out Resumes, so people can tell me I am "overqualified". Oh! and haunt forums... ![]() Fred
