Big news in Canada of late wrt a Bishop on child pornography charges - for 20 years in the pew. I think the Swiss police via Swiss Guard gave up Polanski, to move news stories. This *BIG FISH* bishop goes back to the 1980s.

I have heard so many stories about parishes complaining, the Church moving the priests along to another unsuspecting parish, like a large traveling circus. Then it happens again. I'm not sure why the Church itself isn't charged with harboring criminals and whatnot.

The timing is suspect. It's easier to focus on a splashy one-off, like Polanski.
