The person who did the PLR on me i met through the DAvid Icke Presentation in Melbourne. I suggest that you do a bit of research in your area (you've probably already done that) and ask lots of people involved with spirituality etc. People that channel often do that or have contacts. The only thing is finding someone who is reputable and has a reputation (good).
Meditation is the key. I have heard that its better to be regressed under meditation like i was than under hynotherapy. IMO

In order to fully become aware of a so called "past life" you must be able to expand your focus and allow an understanding of who and what you are. That is a larger awareness than actually picking up an aspect from a catalog of eternal experiences. "Past life" beliefs can limit your ability in many ways. This is due to linear thinking, in otherwords your past preceeds your now moment and future.

What if I gave you the idea that the concept of "you" is one with many aspects to it. The "you" in the picture is not a singularity with a past, present and future timeline. Rather a collection of aspects which is exploring and expanding in all directions of percieved time.

The affect of what we call "past life regression" is the tuning into of one or more aspects of you into your waking outer-self consciousness. That is really all it is. Yet we super-charge it in mystery of the unknown thinking or blot it out in fear of loss or separation to our outer-self.

Ponder this a bit, it may seem intangeable or illogical - but that is just because your filter is set and practiced towards such.

Probably a dumb question but how do you find out more about your past life(ves)?
A good source of information is L Ron Hubbards book "Have you ever lived before this life?" I'm not a Scientologist, but this book makes interesting reading. Incidently the Scientology religion is based on past life regression using an e-meter conducted by an auditor. According to L Ron Hubbard, the entire life time (known as the time track in scientology) of an individual is about 76 trillion years. There is another interesring book called "the tibetan book of the dead". My understanding is that the "between lives area" is were it really get interesting???

Here are some questions that are explored and answered;

Do unborn babies have souls?
Is homosexuality the result of chance or a conscious choice?
Can past lives cause present life relationship problems?
Can life talents and abilities be reclaimed through regression?
and
Do extra-terrestials ever incarnate as human beings?

with over 25,000 past life regressions> this man has explored and heard it all

Hi Henners

Funny you mention that, I went to someone 2 weeks ago and that is how it was with me. I was taken into a meditative state, and not a hypnotic "trance" at all. At first I found it really odd but the deeper I went into my meditation the more things unfolded and the clearer they became. I need to define "clearer". .
I didn't experience anything as if I was looking at a movie, or seeing myself but it was more intuition kicking in. I "knew" that what was happening was real, rather than saw it while it was happening. The really strange thing is that the memory of the session is in clear picture form and I can actually "see" what I went through 2 weeks later clearer than when I was being regressed.
All in all, a startling experience and one that is helping me more and more of late. It's almost as if the session hasn't stopped but continues to unfold. I'm not sure if this has happened to anyone else?

Cheers

Z

Great reply Zeddo, i'm glad you had that experience> ANd yes, the more you work on it, the better then experience. Here is some more info for all.
This is not necessarely about Past life regression, but its the reason for doint it. I was going to start another thread, but its too closely related, so i'll just add it on.
Reincarnation
Every night you sleep, and the next morning you wake up. If you had an argument with your friend yesterday, you will still have the consequences of that argument to face when you wake up. They don't disappear because you went to sleep. You will still be responsible tomorrow for what you did today.
Re-incarnation is just like that. What you create will be there for you to face in your next life if you don't take care of it in this one, just like the consequences that you create today will be waiting for you tomorrow if you don't take care of them before you go to bed.

You are always responsible for what you do, and your responsibility cannot be assumed by anyone else.

When you die, you don't go to sleep. You go home, and you are very much awake. You are also a much larger you than you are now. That is your soul. The consequences that you created, but didn't experience before you died, do not disappear. They are waiting for you. You may think that you do not want to deal with them, but your larger you - your soul - does. In fact, it creates another lifetime just to do that.

Once you start to look at things this way, you begin to do things differently. You treat people the way that you would like to be treated yourself. That is the Golden Rule. You don't have to be a Christian to appreciate the Golden Rule. Billions of Hindus and Buddhists, who believe in re-incarnation, understand exactly what it means.

Reincarnation is a compassionate way of learning responsibility. It is not possible to do a wrong thing. You do what you do, and you experience the consequences of it. It’s that simple. If you don’t experience those consequences before you die, your soul creates another life so that you can. Your spirit will choose a body and environment appropriate for the experience it needs. What incarnates is another aspect of the same individuality, not the same personality.

Being in a state of pure thought, with no physical body or emotions to make it want to take the easiest path, it may well choose a difficult life, either to atone for past deeds or as a means of learning. It may choose parents that give it a difficult childhood. It may take on the role of a mental or physical cripple. Hence the importance of accepting your lot in life, however arduous and painful it may seem, because your own inner self has chosen it.

Eventually, you begin to treat other people the way that you want to be treated. You put yourself in your brother's shoes before you speak or act. You let yourself feel your brother’s pain. You become more tender and caring. You also become more wise.

When you become completely loving and kind - without fear and without thought of harming others - you graduate from the Earth school. That is when reincarnation ends and another adventure begins.

There is a group over at Freezone_Earth Yahoo Group that is starting up past life research into the Between Lives Area. I am part of this project and I detail my sessions over there. We are asking some very probing questions that I don't think Dr. Newton (or others?) ask of their clients, thus I feel we are getting information that lends more truth to what happens between lives.
That is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FREEZONE_EARTH/

In my sessions I had to get past all the hypnotic commands to forget about it and to not talk about it and to view them as cute little harmless creatures, just here to help us create a beautiful earth....If I had obeyed their commands I would have thought I was in "Heaven" and gladly taken my cherry-flavoured cough syrup :-)

henners, the 'first' past life memory i had when i was 4, first meaning i dont remember any past life memories occuring before i was 4 (there may have been but i simply dont remember, even thought memory of this existance i can put to being about 9 monthe old), since then many, they come in meditation, dreams, trance (have done much past life stuff by self hypnosis) and just knowing.
