The Middle East is a big cauldron of racism. On the one hand, everyone wants to exterminate the 'Other.' On the other, there's a lot of progress reversing the de-humanization, which occurs in collective racist head spaces.

Like Lorien, I don't think ignoring all the layers of facts is useful.
