				 | Strange Lockouts On Line

At times, I am locked out of this site. This just happened, and I am not the only one. I am curious if this was regional or not. Please respond. I live in BC, Vancouver Canada. Thank you. Peace of Mind, Wormhole |

Whenever this forum goes offline unexpectedly 99 times out of 100 it's because of the hosting company providing thier usual inadequate service The only other times it'll go offline is planned maintenance or upgrades.. |

Hi Wormhole, Being 'locked out' of a site could be for several reasons. We understand that internet information (all those 01010101) travel to and fro at an alarming rate. Sometimes the system can't cope. A bit like a congested telephone line back in the 1960's. So the reasons for this 'congestion' could range from excessive use of the internet in your area, in the case of wi-fi sunspots, excessive use of bandwidth at the sites server (not limited to this site on the same server), technical malfunctions on the server amongst others. It all makes up part and parcel of using the internet. Best regards, Steve |
