the still that lights my way ... is the i am that i am ...
my fave time of day is actually the night ... when the majority sleep ...
chaos of the day is at rest ... the moon silences all ...
it is then that i experience calm without ... and go within ... to the i am that i am ...
and leave here ... as i do most every night now ... and go beyond ...
beyond to what really is ... to where what really is meant to be ...
and i once again experience the greatest fulfillment of my being ...
connecting to all that is ... and just being ...
and upon my passage back ... i am always humbled by where i have been ...
so blessed am i to have experienced what i have yet again ...
and i return once more ... in the stillness of the night ... the moon my beacon ...
and arise again ... with the new sun of a new day ...
and i am forever changed because of that night ...
the day ahead ... so much brighter ...
but i know it is not really i that has changed ...
for i am that i am ...
my being cannot change ...
but my heart ... remembers greater ...
who i am ...
