The song was very popular for a number of years and I remember hearing it when I kid. The story behind the recording was mentioned a number of times as people were always asking what caused the laughter.

Hahaha yeah he's one of those adreneline junkies.. he's also a skydiving instructor and lives in Hawaii these days. I feel very comfortable with both feet on the ground.. I appreciate mountain climbing, just not throwing myself off them. Though WITH MY MIND I push the limits of knowledge and understanding to the extreme and gain a different sort of ecstasy.

Okay everybody, sit back, relax, loosen your corsets ladies, and men, loosen your belts.

This is a recording from 1934 (before I was born - just) and towards the end of the song, the orchestra leader's braces give way and his trousers slowly begin to descend as he struggles to keep them up and still conduct the orchestra.

You will know when it happens as the singer, Rudy Vallee, starts to break up but, true to the ethic of the day, he carries on singing . . . . . I defy you not to laugh.
