This topic has arisen before w/friends... whether or not you would acutally kill a person to protect your family, yourself....

There are those that are more "evolved" that believe 'thou shalt not kill' will prevail in their lives... hi-dee-hi, hi-dee-ho, I say... YOU JUZ NEVER KNOW til it happens.

That is a fact to me.... ya never know how you will respond unless you are critically trained....which I'm not....and I have had a life or death crisis. What did I do? If I'd had about 4 more seconds there would have been a dead man in my house, the chanber would have been emptied!.... howeeeeeeeeeeeever, I did not have those extra mere seconds..... thus I have scars in my heart & mind even tho I "forgave" the matter automatic, afterwards, while laying in bed in the fetal position & couldn't swallow food for almost a year.... the reflex to swallow became confused... what can I say, even the body has a mind of its own... I "thought" I was fine, however...the body "betrays" your mind, tells you more truth that you care to admit.

SO. point is... you are left to your beliefs...once again.

I tell you true... I will not hesitate to kill a person or animal that trespasses w/intent to kill my Life or another's.. if I have the time & space. And will not look back.

BTW... your body is a weapon... however I was (as in formerly) ignorant of such things. Ignorance costs sometimes a lot!!!

THAT, my friend, sounds like it is quite the story when the details are told.
Yes,the body remembers. It stores its memories - even when mind wants otherwise - classic of PTSD.

Being a woman in the US, where you never know who is carrying a weapon or gun, I will say that I have been chased by a man/men I didn't know four times, yes, I was running away and got away; been attacked by others twice - and injured. As I get older, I find there is more fear of walking alone, even during the day. I had a 140 lb dog for 11 yearsand felt safe when he was there, now I have an 11lb one. He's good for loving u to death.
