As a way of introduction, here's some information on the beginning vision of my Radiant Zone, called Rainbow Community. The Rainbow Community is a place where like-minded people can form a community to live, and experience life as a spiritual/mental and physical being. The following diagram illustrated the desired goal for the community to evolve to a direction where more time will be available to develop the spiritual aspect of life, compared to the present society where the focus is on the physical aspect of life.
![]() The community values to live by can be expressed as Spirit, Respect, and Perseverance. By Spirit is mean the recognition of our essence as a spiritual being; we do not need to always agree, but we must always treat each other with respect; the quality of perseverance is required to accomplish one's goals. The Radiant Zone community can be viewed as prototyping for a new way of living, a new society if you will. My part in this is to provide a framework, a creative environment for this to happen. I do not see my myself as the only initiator for projects or activities to evolve the community. Anyone can go through the process of proposing a project, getting people interested and finding the resources to initiate a project. In this sense I see myself more as a catalyst, a facilitator for the vision. My own initiating project is proposing a retreat center where people can live there, and practice and develop their physical/ mental and spiritual abilities. When they are not present, the rooms can be rented out for revenue. This is part of a desired goal to have a self sufficient community. Being able to grow food is another part of it and can be seen as a separate or companion project. People that can identify with the goals, but not be able to locate there can be part of what I call the Rainbow Fellowship. See the diagram below for this proposal: ![]() Last edited by NorthernSanctuary; 05-19-2009 at 03:49 AM. Reason: edited some spelling error. |
