Default Re: The Truth About Christmas

That's right but it's my belief that we are not meant to be dumbed down to the level that many are, it is done with severe manipulation and if people are not woken up they won't get the chance to shine like they should be, at least not this lifetime. I do think there is a battle going on, a very real one with very real consequences. I have a feeling then when it comes down to it people will do the right thing though, as you mentioned, and that is my hope, but the more awakened the less we need to rely on hopes.

And of course, this is a battle that can only be won with .
Words not Swords.
Tones not Stones.

Is it just me or does anyone else see the oxy moron in all these people calling themselves light 'warriors'.
What is war? Murder, rape, lootings and pillaging are some of the lighter sides of war, and who participates in war?
Not a nice symbol.

People what have you been smoking? The rhetoric here is very alternative.

Santa travels a cross the night sky, a shooting star travels across the sky. Santa must be a shooting star!

Oh, hmm Helios has a wagon too, he travels across the sky, but he only in daytime. Selene is the one active at night, oh and she drags the moon across the sky. Perhaps Santa is really the greek moon god in disguise, and a woman!

Oh, Santa means saint too, holy, of God. Perhaps he really is sent from Jesus?

When I was a kid i wrote a letter to Santa, and wrote...
"Dear Satan,"
I have been down the rabbit hole ever since.

Hello friend silverlightning, if your blind to symbolism you are not but flotsum being tossed around in a sea of confusion.

But....rather then insinuating we are crazy how about enlightening us on the his-story of Christmas and Santa Clause?
I'll be waiting for your wisdom O wise one.

Signs and symbols rule the world, not words nor laws - Confucius

By symbols is man guided and commanded, made happy, made wretched. He everywhere finds himself surrounded with symbols, recognised as such or not recognised - Thomas Carlyle

It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings to search out a matter - Proverbs (25:2)

Sorry Phtha, it was a bit naughty of me.

I am afraid symbolism often pass straight above my head. It's not that I'm totally blind, and I'm all for following the heart and intuition. Signs and divination can be awfully interesting. However, symbols are like the bible, not god made, and definitely interpreted by mortal beings; we can make any story we want out of that book.

If we get stuck in a narrative, we most likely miss the point, and very often end up not recognizing that we make the world with our thoughts and actions. What ever level of conciousness that flow through us, I seriously doubt Santa, Christmas, Jul or traces of pagan past is evil. I think it's how we treat each other, and what we make together that matters.
