Default More than 50 airplane accidents in 5 days in the USA

Go to www.niburu.nl & click on: Meer dan 50 vliegtuigincidenten in de VS in 5 dagen tijd (UPDATE) posted on 09/09/09.

That will take you to the original post with maps & links etc.
It's in Dutch & 'No, I'm not gonna translate it, because I'm very busy with other things. Besides that it's my birthday tomorrow (12/09).
Indirect I was a 9/11 casualty, because in 2001 everybody had forgotten my birthday, the next day.

Via het GLP forum werd onze aandacht getrokken door een topic met de titel “What’s with all the airplane accidents in the US?”.

Happy Birthday Trancoso!

Thanks for the post. Everyone deserves a break on their birthday, especially if it has been so rudely hijacked. Here is the Babel Fish + Babylon version in English:

9 September 2009, 17:17 hour

Through the GLP forum our attention was drawn to a topic with the title, "What's with all the airplane accidents in the US?" The poster is surprised at the fact that more than 20 incidents involving aircraft have taken place in the last 3 days. This had never been seen before, and does someone there have an explanation?

On the Alertmap of the US, we saw that it had been reported there in the past five days more than 50 accidents with several types of planes, and even more in 5 days time - an average of 10 per day, which is extremely numerous.

Most remarkable of this is that the high number of accidents is only limited to the US. On the World Alertmap you can verify in a synoptic manner that this is effectively the case. plane_incidents_usa (Click on image for enlarging)

Now the question which comes up:

What is going on here, and why so many in the US?!

Below is the list of incidents within the last five days:[List deleted by mod/repetitive/K]

The UPDATE on this is that 49 of 55 reports disappeared from the 'Alertmap' within an hour www.niburu.nl posted this thread. (09/09/09)

By clicking on the blue 'READ' behind every report, it's perhaps possible to re open them.

But is that an increase or is there always an average 10 such happenings a day amongst the who knows how many (thousands, tens of thousands?) of flights a day? (ok i googled it ): At any given moment, roughly 5,000 planes are in the skies above the United States. In one year, controllers handle an average of 64 million takeoffs and landings. http://www.natca.org/mediacenter/bythenumbers.msp now to do the math (maths for you UKers )

3650/64,000,000=0.00005703125 hmm not bad odds at all, they always have said that flying is statically the most safe form of travel.

From the first lesson on, math has been like Chinese to me. I filled in my name above a math test& returned it to the teacher.
By the way, it's a mathematical certainty that somewhere in the univers there's another planet where they speak English, so not all is lost.

This is what I was wondering...is this an increase? There is an awful lot of air traffic out there...

The fact that ALTERMAP removed 49 of the 54 accidents/incidents so quickly, I suppose it's not something they want the world to know. It starts with a guy who gets lost on the www & stumbles by chance into the Altermap page & next thing you know it's on CNN. I mean, with the 9/11 overkill this week, anything that flies & crashes is bount to be bend in an item, let alone 54 in 5 days.
Besides that the crisis hit hard on airline companies. Every ticket sold is a ticket sold. Perhaps the math is okay, but it's not the kind of publicity they die for.
