Default Interesting note about The Matrix

I was watching a replay of The Matrix Movie today and found interesting that they took the "There is no spoon" kid and clip out of the movie now.

That was my favorite part and now its gone. I always thought it was the most truthful part of the entire movie

That clip to me was the demonstartion that the kid fell at the last hurdle in his ability to be 'the one', as he couldn't see past his own perception of 'no spoon' to the core absolute truth of the fabric of the matrix.

Wonderful film though, an absolute favorite of mine.

Matrix is a great film, one you can watch over and over and still see something new.
So many things hidden right in plain view

Talking of going to see the Oracle, any one notice Temet Nosce in the kitchen???

I have noticed things cut out of movies when watching on tv, be it network or cable. Most times it seems to be to fit the movie into the allotted length of time for the broadcast including all commercials, which is usually announced as the movie begins to air. I do not know how they decide what to cut out or who does the editing. What's positive to me is that I still can see the spoon scene on my dvds, vhs, iPod, hd so it doesn't bother me too much when I catch it on tv and miss out. It made me laugh a little when they cut out one scene from Grease on cable but yet the pussy wagon lyrics stay. I am not sure how sinister the editing really is.

Yeah that's a big sign. The Oracle even makes sure to point it out and discuss it with Neo.
