Re: What are you doing for new years eve?
22:48 GMT+1 playing a PC game called Dragon Age - Origins (re-playing actually) but this time with the additional content...and a different party setup.
Nothing ever that special on this day. I did make an attempt to get some "company" but was unable to get past the usual: let us get all drunk and "party"...not to mention the conversation level going all up to the cars, sex and sports....and women...well they are mostly all monetized this days - too much for my pocket have a great ny, if u celebrate it |

Re: What are you doing for new years eve?
My husband and I are empty nesters. A good meal, a bit of wine and movies. Early to bed because tomorrow is company day for our turkey meal. We enjoy my sister-in-law's delicious BBQ turkey on Christmas Day and this is my opportunity to cook one also (in the oven!).
Happy New Year to all. Hope you have enjoyed Tango's New Year wishes to everyone! (on another thread) |

Re: What are you doing for new years eve?
On my way to the chicken coop... to collect eggs, I saw the BlueMoon, huge & orange just fully clear over the yonder hill....
Am pouring a hot bath, it takes a while, the tub is big... will add some sea salts and take a soaker... then off to a bonfire down the peninsula, to be topped off at the top of peak w/friends whose house has a spectacular view, to pop some bubbly, eat snacks, talk a bunch of nonsense, laugh, smile... come home, stoke the fire, and crawl into the flannel sheets and think grateful things as I enter the 1/3 of my day filled w/mysteries to be seen. A HeartFelt New Year Blessing to All for the abdominal fortitude & spirited sweet heart to endure comewhatmay! |

Staying home and being poor. Christina and I should be heading up north to see her side of the family that we had to cancel out on last week because of the **** weather.
